Blocky Text with Intel Graphics Card

I've noticed by reading the threads that people with Intel Graphics cards all are having the same issue with blocky text being displayed instead of readable text in the game. I was wondering if this issue is beeing addressed and hopefully going to be fixed with a patch soon. Can anybody comment on that status?

I never had that problem but I had a problem with the game not starting in the old betas,I have the 945gm express chipset.Go to the intel website and download the latest graphics drivers and if you cant go and download radarsync to update that driver and more.

I've got an Intel graphics card and the same thing happens to me. I get the blocky white text. I've also seen a lot of people with the same issues.

I have the same problem and haven't been able to play any of the betas or the demo. I tried downloading a graphics card update from the intel website but it didn't work.

I'm also suffering from this problem, and my graphics card is up to date. This is annoying, and I was all ready to buy it! Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :D

Yea, mine is also, I already bought it, assuming there would be no problems, but now I can't play it, I just hope that this issue is known to the coders and they are working on a fix to come out with a patch soon! Keep your fingers crossed!

Yep, that's exactly my problem, and there's crazy pictures of people around the centre circle and in the semi circle outside the penalty area, quite humorous, yet very bloody annoying. Please jim, fix it for me.

This is a common problem that came up with version 4.01. At least you can run the game :D

Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family has this problem, just checked it in my sister's laptop.

Mine is Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family and i´ve used to have the same problem, but now the game is working fine.

I searched for the correct drivers and installed a couple, none did the job. The link to the drivers that fixed my problem was the one provided by Siread here:

I also reinstalled DirectX 9.0c and deactivated desktop composition for NSS.

That was it, now the game is running fine, no blocky texts.

I have done all the things suggested by joevicentini but it's still not working for me. Any movement on this Si or JJU? I would love to play this game and would definitely pay for it but all I see is blocks so I can't even start my career!

The only thing different i did was to install the game inside my documents folder. I did that because im on Vista so it makes it easy to access and modify the files, like setting.ini, but i don´t think it has anything to do with the solution.

Im afraid i gave a bad info on the last post. Im not on directx 9.0c, im on 10. Sorry about that. My intel chipset driver version is 7.15.10.1591 for those of you wondering.

Everytime I try to update my Mobile Intel 965 GM chipset drivers from version 7.14.10.1295 to the version u have (7.15.10.1591 ) , the setup gets an error ( "The controler it's not validated for this computer.Get the controler by the manufacter of the computer " , something like that )

I know Siread is trying to solve the problem , but once u had a similiar problem , maybe you have any ideas :P

By the way , I have Windows Vista too in my Sony Vaio laptop.

Guys guys guys. This is a problem that already has awnser. Update the grafic card... Now you will think..."well I tried but it does not run" or "I have the driver up to date" and so on...
Guys, I had the driver up to date though I download the driver and try to install it, but I tried "the easy way" just open that driver and click "next" till the end...Well, you are talking about updating drivers...it doesn´t work that way. You have to uninstall your grafic card ("device manager" - grafic card, right click "uninstal").
Then, do not reboot your computer. Run the driver (.exec), install it and it will ask you to reboot, and then will ask you again to reboot (ye ye...vista is the best...or not)

And it´s done. My grafic card is the "Mobile Intel 965 Express (Chipset Family)"

Problem solved then , THANK YOU VERY MUCH :clap: ;)
Just one thing , I had to restart my computer after I uninstalled my grafic card, because it was giving an " unknown error xD ".
But now it's working fine with the latest driver version (7.15.10.1591)

I think what he said was uninstall the drivers, don't reboot, install the most recent drivers and reboot.

Install new drivers and then reboot again.

And it's done.

Firstly, please try posting in the right place. Secondly, look for an existing thread (ie, this one) where people have a similar problem. Lastly, please include your system specs, speficically your graphics card details in this instance.
