View Full Version : Orderd a New Graphics card and more memory

I have bought 500Mb of RAM to add onto my 192 MB of RAM.
I have also bought a Nvidia Geforce FX 5500 Memory 256MB

Will NSS 4 run fast with my new memory and Graphic's card and will i be to run 6 countrys.

It will run faster for sure. But itīs still a low end system. ;) BTW How is your old memory split? 2x96 MB or what? Iīve never heard about 192 MB Ram.

dunno its defintely 192 mb its made up with 2 memory sticks

He says your system specs are still low, not powerful enough ;) But I think it would be enough to get the game faster :rolleyes:

how dose he know what my system specs are lol.

I put my brothers Graphics card in my pc which is a Nvidia Geforce4 MX 4000 Memory 128.0MB with my 192MB of RAM the game played fine cause of the Graphics card it just went a bit slow though cause of me only having 192MB

You told us your RAM and your GPU. And thatīs enough to know that your system will run the game... eh, fine! ;)

GPU = Graphics Processing Unit
It's your graphics card. Do not confuse GPU with CPU (Central Processing Unit, the processor).

I dont know about euro's but it cost me Ģ12 for the 500mb of Ram and Ģ24 for the Graphic's card.

Sorry mate, but nope; 3 is the absolute maximum unless you want it going super-slow, and that's on a better system than yours. I'd stick to 1 if I were you. :) (England does, of course, have the best leagues in the world, right? :D)

Intel Pentium Dual Core @ 2.00 GHz runs 6 leagues nicely.

Hmm, perhaps I shouldn't do other things whilst running NSS then. :P Surely you have epic loading times whilst it generates results though?
