Hi,
I have recently downloaded NSS 4 and have purchased a log-in key. When i run the game i get passed the initial screen and into the first options screen but can not read any of the wording! The ball in the background is clearly visable and the sound is working fine. My graphics drivers are upto date and i'm running vista home premium.
Any ideas?
Many Thanks

right-click the installer and select "run as administrator" or something correspondending in your language. should be done automaticly, but i dont know wha happens, if you do not have the rights to install something.
but i am not really sure if this is the problem at your side. the only error with the fonts was solved by installing an up to date gfx driver

What is admin rights?
Running the game with administrator rights is mandatory to install a software on Windows Vista. Also it's necessary to run some applications. Just right click to file that you want to run as admin and click on "Run as Administrator" ;)

Please try this:
Right-click the NSS4 shortcut
Go to Properties
Go to Compatibility
Check Disable Desktop Composition
Try to run now and tell us what happens.
Some basic machines specs would be handy. Specifically your gfx card. Find out more by going to Start > Run and typing dxdiag. Then click on the 'Display' tab.

256mb is enough. At least a GeForce 6600 or better should do the trick. :)

Please check if your graphics card drivers are up-to-date and then try to run the game. If it is still slow then I'll give Si a chance to comment (GeForce gfx cards usually run this game fine )

Thank you ;)

Have you tried fullscreen/window modes in different resolutions? Are you using vista?

I get the exact same problem, I have the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 integrated video card. The drive us up to date, but it still gives me the blocky text that I cannot read.

Did you try different resolutions and details level?

Apparently it seems Intel cards have issues with this game. I can't see any text in my sister's laptop either. (Intel GMA 965)

Yes, I've tried all the different settings and still the same problem. Any Ideas? Or do you think this is something that is going to need to be patched?

The game starts and I don't have any problems with it until I try to play or practice. The players' grapfics doesn't work. Same with practice sessions. I have updated my drivers. I have Windows XP Home (1,9 Ghz) and 512 mb ram with Radeon 9250 card (driver ver. 6.14.0010.6542).
Here's a picture of the problem. Click the link to see the picture. (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y264/Kauris82/NSS4.jpg)

im having the problem that others seemed to have, where the text on the screen is just a load of blocks with the football in the background clearly visable.
ive tried to update my graphics driver but the intel website tells me that i have the latest one installed! ive tried all the other remedies that people have offered to this problem but the problem still persists!
my computer specs are:
intel core 2 duo 2ghz
2038 mb ram
mobile intel 965 express chipset family

I open the game fine.
But when you play at the main menu instead appear legible letters appears a lot of blocks!
What I really do, or when the problem will be corrected? If correct answer Urgent!
