With Craig Moore injured who do you think should be the acting captain for the match against the Soloman Islands? Mark Viduka was choosen but in other times when Moore was out Schwarzer was acting captain. Harry Kewell is also out so he is not included in the list.

Couldn't disagree more. If you dont have the mentality to be a captain and lead your players, it really doesn't matter how long you have been playing for. I would pick John Terry as a possible England captain, but he doesn't have that many caps to his name.

How old was Michael Owen when he was made England captain? I would imagine everyone at Manchester United knew Roy Keane would be captain for many many years when they signed him and he was about 21.

Experience, yes, thats good, but it isnt everything, you simply have to have the mind set of a captain.

Yep. 7-0 =D>. Australia thrashed them  . Viduka was man of the match. one of his goals was a cracker. The best scissore i have seen and also a good header. He also hit the post once or twice. Chipperfield, Archie Thompson and Culina were the other scorers. =D> :P  =D> =D> =D> =D> :D =D> :) =D> =D> =D>

Viduka led brillantly and Guus Hiddink made the right choice in choosing him to replace Craig Moore. Craig Moore better get fit soon because if he misses another match and Viduka captains again, Craig might loose the captancy

I dont think Chipperfield is really good but he always seems to prove me wrong by scoring some great goals...

He gets selected in the Australia first 11 alot and i always think he should be on the bench but then he scores some great goal from well outside the penalty area.

I think Guus made the right decision playing Viduka as captain for these games.

I still think Micheal Beauchamp should be getting a run in defence (while there are these injuries, I'd like to see him in the WC06 squad should we qualify) but I don't mind the Mariners still using him. I'm shattered that Archie Thompson does so well for Australia (Really endered himself to the crowd at the Solomons game, us Marinators had a good laugh at him using the celebration again right infront of the Sydney Boys), he's a Tard! I think the Tards are shaping themselves up as the most hated team in the league. (I hate Newcastle more, RIP - Breakers).
