I think its easier for simon if he can see all the bugs on the same post so, lets try not to talk about anything else in this topic. Just post the bugs you've found and discuss it anywhere else.

The ones I've found up to now are

-the already discussed swap shirts -> none which leads to desktop.

-when you go search, if you write someone's name and click "reset" it goes to desktop aswell

Once I find more erros I'll post them here. Hope someone follows my idea ;).

I already put this one in another thread but, anyway...I'm playing as a striker. So, I was watching the matches play out, and got subbed in in some of them. The thing is, I got subbed in as the keeper. So the keeper was subbed out and I replaced him, even though I'm playing as a striker. A guy who's actually playing as a keeper said he gets subbed in as a striker.

Another one, There's been a couple of times when I take a shot, and it looks like it hits the post, but it says goalkick. On one of them, I put replay, and the ball still looks like it hits the post, and it doesn't cross the goal line, meaning it didn't go out of play..

Atm I am only training and missing all the games. At least that is what it was supposed to happen :P. I come to games with 1% energy. Boss picks me as substitute. Most of the times I come in (when a substitution happens means the ball is out of the pitch), I go to my position, the guy who will hit the throw in goes to the ball and I get substituted by another player before he throws in ^^.

Also, I was training, done like... 5 trainings with 2.0 on shooting, then I did one with only 0.4 and got maximum relationship with my manager :D.

Don't know if these are bugs... just reporting.

Another possible bug, the ball striking the post again. This time, it hits the post, and looks like it bounces out, but it was a goal. I did the replay and rotated to get a better view, and yes, it did hit the outside of the post, bounced out, and went all the way to the adboards. But it counted as a goal.

I have encountered a few bugs after a day worth of playing. Before I encountered most of these I installed the FudgeDB, so there is a possibility that some of the bugs might be because of that.
I began my career in Norway, got loaned out to a second division club in Spain, went back to Norway after the loan, and then transferred to Lewes (England).
After I went to Lewes I got a message that somebody had stolen a object from a superstitious player and I got the choice to tell him who took it or act like nothing happened. The thing is that this player was my teammate in Norway, and not with my new club Lewes.
I also noticed that the Norwegian season ended with 24 games (instead of the correct 26).
I also ended up having the next game in the next year. This started when I went out on loan.
I also noticed that in some cup there was no team name, just "team 1" etc. The semi finale in the english cup was between Team 3 vs. Team 5 and two other number teams.
And then there is the usual errors, such as crash when swapping shirt with "none".

FudgeDB only changes the wrong letters, it doesn't make any changes to competitions or teams. (Except for their names)

I saw the Major League season end with 24 games as well...only 12 teams there..
but aren't they supposed to play each other 3 times?

This isn't a bug as such, by my St' Albans (Conference south) team has recently purchased Carlo Cudicini, which is basically impossible of course. Not that I'm arguing, he's saved my team a few times ;)

A bug I have encountered however is the club's stadium changing. I started said career with St Albans, and without playing a game made a new career with Barcelona. Without playing again, I switched back to St. Albans (eh, I'm indecisive), and when loading it was sure St. Albans stadium was Camp Nou. The match itself also appeared without any stadium, with the players running across some grass. (This might be due to St. Albans crappy stadium :))

I'm still loving this games though.

(Reporting bugs doesn't mean you don't like the game. You're just trying to help)

Anyway... I was training heading skill and one defensor faulted me and I went to score a penalty :P. Not only I lose very much time running to the stop, etc, it doesn't help heading at all. Not sure if it's a bug, but I guess so.

Hello.

Bought the game yesterday, and it´s working fine on my laptop, but i also found one little bug.

Right after the clock stops on a training session, when you are presented with the panel showing your skill gain in points, if you click the "match options" buttons, and then "play" to go back to the skills panel, the green "play" button disappears, and you are left only with the "match options" and "quit match" buttons.

Not a big issue, but still a bug.

well...
i just want to say that i am playing as a goalkeeper and i saw another goalkeeper from my club as a ML (i know it was reported but maybe this helps)

on my vista OS the game crashes when i try to access horce racing

the grades for goalkeepers are very low and i coldn't see any grade higher than 6... and grades like 1or 2 are common.
the goalkeeper states grow very rapidly comparing to a striker. and i don't see diferences in 5 on aerial and 60 on aerial. is is still amost imposible to make a decet save

Found two bugs. They happened in the same savegame:

1) The same bug reported by ImotMeg, that one showing "team 1", "team 2", etc... instead of actual team names. As of now, it´s happening in the Copa Del Rey quarterfinal.
2) A "not starting match" bug. It happened when i went into a loan. I was playing at a brazilian club as a midfielder in Brazilian First Division League and suddenly i was loaned to Weston-S-Mare, an England club playing the south conference league (yes, i suck, i know...). The first match with me at Weston-S-Mare should have started 08/08/08 but as far as 02/25/09 the team didn´t play any match yet. The whole south conference league seems to have not started. Im no more into a loan and formalized my contract with WSM in 01 oct 2008. Still no games, im just training, training, training. Im expecting the date 08/08/09 to see if the issue was an one year lag on the game calendar.

I´m sending the savegame to you SI, with both bugs, through email.

Ps i sent you a savefile containing the "New season wont start problem", but i also have the Team 1 - Team 2 Problem on that save, it is pretty strange to see half of Champions League teams as Team 1,2,3,4 etc....

When the ball is on the lose, if we hold the shot or the pass button, the player will follow the ball and throw it to the clouds when he reaches it. It's not exactly a bug, but there should be a way to follow the ball without throwing it to the moon or to just take the ball (the call button doesn't work, as it says somewhere I can't remember :P)

Just found a couple of text errors. I politely helped a girl named "$girlname" when her bike was broken. It was in the paper and everything, so maybe her name couldn't be released due to legal issues ;)

Also, if you request to be substituted, the message says "Do you wish to substituted?". No biggie, but I thought I'd mention it.

I found just a very little bug, but a bug anyway :).
As I helped a girl fixing her bycicle, in the newspaper, which apeared, there was written "$girlname" instead of a Name. Doesn't disturb, but still a bug :D

i got another small one. if you chose a different currency and got to the contract negotiation your old contract down right is always written in pounds.

I just had a problem starting the 2nd half of a league game.

My strike partner was sent off in the first half. When the 2nd half started he appeared on the pitch and then ran off to the sidelines with the cards showing above his head. After that I was left stood alone in the centre circle and couldn't kick off to start the match.

Nearly the same happened in my game except that an opponent's defender got sent off. Their coach put one striker back in the defence and the game couldn't continue. At least my team was leading so it wasn't too hard using the fast forward button...

Another bug occured during my first national game. All offensive free kicks were taken by the goalkeeper which led to receiving 3 goals as he wasn't able to get back quick enough.

I also had problems with league fixtures in my first save game using quick database (no new fixtures in the 2nd season). my new one (with generated players at start setup) works nearly perfect besides:
- team 1, 2, 3 etc. in european competitions
- in Andorra (where I started the game before being transfered to Germany) the 1st league only consists of 2 teams in the second season.
- at my first club in Germany (3rd league) the squad had about 35-40 players which made it way too hard playing any matches at all.
- it's quite easy making money with the fruit machine (maybe no bug - at least it's quite comfortable). And it's even easier earning millions if you own horses. At some point you'll receive prize money regardless how successful your horse is. And it's always doubling the prize money your horse won during its career until it gets stuck at about 15M. Then it's time to sell the horse for about 16-17M and get a new one.

Your sponsorship contracts never expire. And I dont know if this is a bug or not but I got to 100% world status and got a second position (defense) when my regular position is forward and the boss always plays me as defense instead of forward when im the only attacker on the team it gets really annoying.

The game pretty much always ends when a team is about to score a goal.

Also, a thing which is not really a bug, but I've achieved the "first league won", but I'm on a second division. Would be better and harder if that achievement was only for first leagues.

Since the patch, whenever I stop the game for a free kick on free training I have to wait about 30 seconds for either I go to the ball or some player go to the... (i don't know the name in english ^^ but its those 2-6 guys who hold a hand on their parts and the other on the face and stand between the ball and the goal =D)... I can't skip it by clicking the call button. It's really annoying.

Another bug since the patch. I can't see my contracts. When someone offers me a contract I can only see the club and the years. I can't change anything nor see how much I will receive, etc.

Have been playing the updated version and all the old major bugs seems to be fixed (the not starting league bug, for example). I have Intel graphics card on my notebook, i had blocks as text and after i installed the driver suggested by Siread in this forum, the problem was fixed (i tried to go by myself before that to find the right drivers, well, i´ve installed a couple and it didn´t fix anything. Maybe ppl with intel graphics card should be advised to strictly follow siread links).

Well, I´ve noticed a couple of flaws and other new bugs, theyre all minor ones:

1) Text error: after you get married, there´s a phrase where your wife is called your "girlfriend". The text where she gets drunk in the front of your friends.

2) Once in a game when i asked to be substituted after i made an assist, the newspaper didn´t put my name as the assist, the space was left empty. It was like "the assist goes to but Cristiano Ronaldo made the hard part and scored... etc..."

3) I was the top scorer of a league. Just after I accepted a contract to a club from another league my record as the top scorer of the old league was erased.

4) When your adversary is making the wall to block a free kick, if youre strong enough (mine is 100%), you can just push the entire wall apart and let space for the kicker to score.

5) When you go to engine.ini to slow down the gameplay by setting 22 to a smaller value, the training clock don´t slow down proportionally. Well, that´s really annoying because if an user likes to play at a slower pace, like i do (i set it to 16), everytime i do a training session i have to close the game and set the number in engine.ini back to 22, otherwise i would lose a lot of points because of the slow gameplay.

6) I have sponsors interacting with me even before i get sponsored. It is happening on version 4.01

On the finance screen instead of adding the amount of money earned from shirt sales the amount of shirts itself is added to the budget. For example if you have 10000 in other income and 360 shirts sold you end up with 10360 on the bottom line. Everywhere else it's calculated right, so it doesn't have an effect on your finance as such.

I also just noticed that after one game in the premier league i shared the top of the top scorer chart Simon Grayson from Hull, both scoring two goals, even though they only played 1-1 in their only game so far.

There is a massive bug in the horse racing feature of NSS4. I have bought multiple horses for 1 million and sold them for 150 million, and have seriously made billions of pounds from doing so. The bug seems to be that if the worse your horse seems to place in the race, the more prize money it gets, money is also increased for lower odds and losing. e.g. My horse enters a 10 horse race with 2/1 odds, it comes second last, and I win 70 million pounds and my horses value increases by the same amount. Doesn't make sense to me????

Another bug in the horse racing is that when 1 horse is low on energy, i.e. 1%, it blocks out all the other stable horses from racing, even if they are all 100%.

Just encountered another bug. I owned 3 horses worth about 2.7 billion pounds. Yes, billions. With all their prize money, I reached 2 billion in cash, because I had already bought everything in the game. Once you reach 2 billion, the cash resets to zero. Too get my cash back I sold my horses and stupidly reached over 2 billion again, so i lost 4 billion pounds in seconds. In hindsight, I should have purchased multiple private islands, but just a little bug that would be worthwhile fixing.

I took the ball into the box and when the keeper came out I manually passed to a teammate who one timed it into the goal. I got credit for both the goal and an assist on the play. I saved the replay.

Actually, this is something I wanted to mention. The call button doesn't skip anything during the game - just the initial match screen.

In the match itself, you have to keep pressing space to skip 'cutscene' moments. Any chance that this can all get bound to the call button?

Just bought the game for my Mac (brilliant by the way) and i'm having problems with my cursor during the game...

Basically at the end of the game the screen goes to the player ratings screen, yet when this happens the game dies....the mouse cursor dissapears from the screen and i cant click anything... i'm very confused.

i'm guessing i have the latest version of the game too (well i downloaded "the latest version)

Minor bug here - when I got sent off in a game, I had 100% energy immediately afterwards instead of the usual low amount following a game.

Also, there should be no 10 yard restriction for team-mates during set pieces. It's a touch irritating to not be allowed to stand beside the taker for a short ball. :)

Oh, and I can't seem to skip forward for things like corners, kick off etc. when everyone's running to their position. Hitting the "call for ball" button on my pad (a PS2 pad, mapped the button to L1) does nothing.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing about returning to 100% energy, too. Its a bit of an "exploit".

1. Start your league match at 100% energy.
2. Play your arse off, run around like a fool and reduce your energy to whatever value.
3. At around 89 mins (or 1 minute left in the game), hit Escape and select Skip Action.
4. Your and your teammates energy is magically returned to 100% or at least much higher than it should be.

Its an easy way to make sure you're at full energy almost all the time.

I've encountered this bug:

Leeds gave me a contract proposal, but I have sent a demand for contract length to 1 year

Day later Carlisle United gave proposal, but I was waiting for more proposals

Leeds agreed on 1 year contract
Tescoma Zlin gave proposal that I rejected

SK Kladno gave proposal

Millwall gave proposal

Now message, that Carlisle is no more interested because they had to wait 7 days for answer, but contract proposal from Leeds was canceled( as expected because was the first )

The proposal from Carlisle is still avalaible

Another bug?
I have no option for 1280 x 1024 32BPP 60hz although it was said in one thread( that is closed ) that should be available in the latest patch..

In my first 2 international games, then game seems to cycle at the end i.e. the final whistle blows, the players go off the pitch, and then when you press the green button, it goes back to the game, plays less than a second, and the cycle repeats. The only way to get out of this is to wait until the options screen comes up (at the end of the game), click skip action, and then it stops the cycle and goes back to the main activity screen.

Mac, latest version, if that makes any difference.

Sometimes the game decides not to play some of the matches. For example LEG1 of some international competiton. it appears like the result of the game is 0-0 but it is in the stats as if it was never played. (and no, I dont mean the cases in which I play first leg2 and then leg1).

During leagues and Continental cups, no problem. I win one leg and keep advancing.

But it happened during the World Cup. This bug got me out of the world cup without me, or my team playing the game. The game just decided to skip that, and other games playef during the same day. and it left out a lot of teams that way...

Hope you can look into it.

Are you sure?! What season are we talking here? If the European comps aren't nailed by now I may as well quit.. Please make sure you're using a recent database etc before providing feedback.

I own two horses. When I go and put one of them to race the "race horse" (or something) button changes to "Withdraw". So far so good. Then when I select my other horse the button still reads "Withdraw" and doesn't change back to "Race Horse". I can still click it and also the other horse goes to the race.

One one time bug was when an international game started and went to the team selection menu before the game the other team had only two members in it. Goalie and a defence man. When I clicked "Skip Match" it worked out normally and the match resulted 0 - 0. Tough team would I say...
