What do you think?I say Championship manager 03/04.The only advantage in CM05 is that is newer.

Change is good, dont get me wrong. They have taken the series and moved it forward, and I'm all for that. Unfortunately, every release since 01/02 has had considerable slow down on my computer due to its age. Because of this, I find 01/02 to be quick, and has had so many hours out of me, I wont even work it out, because it will go into months.
Its the accessability and ease of play that has captivated me with 01/02, plus the fact its a stonking great game.

yeh true i think what i meant was to much change which is bad if you have a product that every1 likes then dont totally change it to try and sell more
I think the last CM I played was 03/04, maybe even 02/03. I didn't get very far, was too busy womanising!
But my fave is actually 97/98  I took Barnsley to world domination with some shrewd signings... ahhhh.

Thats one of the reasons I love 01/02, I've had so many fantastic memories of it (If anyone cares, I'll tell you a few of them  ) And Ive never had chance to get those sorts of experiences with other champ releases, as the speed of my computer has stopped me getting involved enough to really enjoy them.
And womanising goes hand in hand with champ, they are like brothers :D You have to play champ, then get a dose of reality
cm 03\04 was great game and cm5 tells everybody that it's probably end of this series. i don't know any people who are playing on cm5.

I'm back on 01/02, my life is going downhill again
I managed about 6 months off of it, after I found NSS and various PS2 games, and now I've started a game at Spurs, and well, I went to bed at gone 4am last night
Cm 03/04 is the best. The problem is it runs far to slow. Since i love looking at the stats so much i can only play 1 game every time i play and that means it takes a very long time for a season to finish. I completed only one season in which i won every game in the league and i won the FA cup and the League cup and i won the Champions League. I done all this as Chelsea.
