Ok, I saw the Update Drivers thread, followed this;

Find out your graphics card model:
Click Start and choose Control Panel then Device Manager. Under Display Adapter you will see your graphics card details.

...and it said no updates available, so I'm guessing I need a new graphics card.

I saw these recommended;

GFX card: nVidia Geforce 6600 or better
memory: 256 mb (128 mb seems to work in very rare cases)
CPU: an Intel with at least 2GHz.

So how much would one of these cost?

And also, my CPU is Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.93GHz - so I won't need to update this?

i'm unsure how much will it cost it depends in your country. By the way your processor should be powerful enough to run NSS4 so no need to update it. Also don't buy a new gfx card yet as Simon Read is working in the compatibility issues :)

Hi Richy. I wouldn't recommend buying a new graphics card just yet (unless you're hoping to play FarCry or something like that.) If it is just NSS4 you want to play then I am working on compatibility issues and hope to have an update within the next few days.

I think I'll buy a new card anyway, if it's affordable, so then I can play other 3d games when I buy them.

I don't understand though because I have played 3D games before....very basic ones....off about 5 years ago.....

Si, you're in the UK, so do you know a card that will play the newest games?

And how much it would cost?

I don't have any recommendations to be honest. My card is a Geforce 8600M GT which runs the game perfectly but there are probably much better cards available now.

Ok. I'll have a look around.

Cheers for advice though. And thanks to pea aswell.
