Patches for NSS4

My Documents/New Star Soccer 4/Images/Clubs/Kits

Nation kits (international teams) should go in:

My Documents/New Star Soccer 4/Images/Nations/Kits

hey vieri I had the same problem.
how big are the files you are downloading?
my eagle kits download stopped at 5,9 MB and said it was finished.
I tried another browser (firefox) to download the file and it worked fine.
Are you using microsoft internet explorer?

Yep the Eagle Kits zip is very big. I'll probably split it in 2 parts but to extract it you need both parts and WinRAR.

I sincerely apologise for all the problems, it was because I chose some weird settings while compressing as ZIP. All RAR files (included part files) should work. I will be reuploading the badges now. I think the Database Converter works though.

the game crashes when I try to load a game or start a new one, after I've used the converter. Have tried several times now... what am I doing wrong?

Just noticed that the db changer didn't change a thing. Neither on the database nor on the save I already had. Is it my problem or general?

It did change the team names where you choose your fav club and stuff.

It's probably my problem then...What did you do? I've extracted it to c>programs>nss>database and used the .exe with the name of the file that was on it (NSS4) and it worked. But didn't change a thing.

I did the same as you, it changed the names were you choose club and fav club, but the game crashes when i try to load the game. If replace the unfaked db with the original backup i made it workes fine again

Try reconverting but don't change between programs while converting.

Like this:

Run FudgeDB.exe
Let it run but don't use anything else
When it's done, close it
Try NSS4 again.

My connection is fine. Only http://cashino.net23.net/NSS/ gives me that error, everything else seems fine. I'm just trying to see if this is only my problem. Asked 20 times already with no answer so, I don't know :P. Anyway, if this is only my problem, can I add you on skype and you send me your db? Fine if you don't want ;).

Kits are dynamic so they're not included on your save file. Feel free to change them whenever you want ;)

Only 10mb of the Super Pack is downloaded, the remaining 50mb does not download. Tried it twice.

have you probably moved your documents folder by vista settings? be sure you go to the documents via your user profile and then into the new star soccer 4 folder. if you put them into the right directory it should work perfectly

Forgive me if this is a silly question or if i'm missing something here but has anyone made a kitpack for the English clubs, I cant find them. If not, are there other licensing problems associated with them as I cant think of many other reasons why the best league in the world hasn't been updated by anyone yet. If it already has, could someone please give me a pointer?

As I haven't seen this posted yet i'll just help out people running it on Mac who want to unfudge the database. You'll will need to download the rar version of the database. Unpack it anywhere you can find it easily. Right click (CTRL + mouse) on NSS4 in the program folder then choose show content of package (not sure if it say exactly in the english version since i'm using another version). Then it's simply going contents -> Resources -> Data -> Database. Rename the existing nss4.db to nss4backup.db or anything in that liking. Now simply copy the unfudged database to this folder and you should be up and running :).

I'm having a 39*c fever so go easy on my spelling and grammar ;).

I would put photos of missing stadiums and logos in the game.
How should I label my pictures?
With that number?
Where can I find a list of teams included in the patch?
For example: The photo of the stadium's Sampdoria, as the label?

as long as there is no binary of the unfuger-program for mac, it will only work with new started games.

about the last bit of my comment, there's a new editor available which looks in the \My Documents\New Star Soccer 4\Images folders for the images, so you only need oen set!

also, in the near future i'll be releasing:

a 2000 image club logo set later, with new logos for italy, malaysia and peru and others.
an 800 stadium image pack with new english stadiums
a 6000+ player image pack, with players from all over the world!

keep an eye on my forum (you need to register to see the downloads section) over the next week for these :)

I have made a kit patch for NSS4 which includes kits home kits for all 10 teams of the Hyundai a league (Away kits and final home kits will be uploaded once all 10 teams have released their official kits), west ham united's 3 kits (with sbobet as the sponsor instead of XL) and leeds united's home, away and third kits; All for the 09-10 season.

Expect them to appear dodgy, i am a beginner, but its better than nothing.

Once downloaded, extract the files into C:/Users/(Your Username)/Documents/New Star Soccer 4/Images/Clubs/Kits

Well, apparently they are. I don't remember what i googled, but an image came up with those kits, i checked out the site and apparently theyre the 09-10 kits.

However, seeing as you are a leeds fan, and u dont think that those ARE the kits, i'll look into it and try to make them accurate.
