To be honest i think that lma is alot better then champ( not saying champ is a bad game coz its not).

LMA is a lot more realistic
like in champ manager you could have the best team in ther world and then lose to the bottom three teams in a row.

On Champ you win depending wether you are at homw or have a better reputation.(hard to take poor teams really far)

On LMA its more bout tatics the team you have and luck

Someone hold me back......

I wont argue, your wrong :D I'm not the sort of person to say such a bold thing, i will always allow a constructive conversation to be created where possible. Your last post was about as true as saying Hitler was right to kill millions of Jews in the second world war

I totally agree, When making such a bold statement it should be backed up by informed opinion as to why I think my opinion is the correct one.

It is just to the degree as to how good I think champ is, and just how poor LMA is. I have had a few LMA titles, and sold them within a week. Granted, one of them did actually come with my PS2, and I have never bought one, but I never want to either. Football management was not meant for the console, it doesnt have a keyboard, or a mouse, so its just plain wrong.

I generally found the trick on LMA manager to make players play how you want them to was to tell them to do the complete opposite. Im sure I've ranted on here before about telling an LMA team to play a direct style of football, only for my back 4 to knock it around amongst themselves for 20 minutes. Thats just plain wrong. Tactically, it didnt seem to matter what I played, the result would still be whatever the computer decided it fancied that day. The game isnt in depth enough when it comes to real management problems, such as training and manager relations and interaction.

I havent played an LMA title since, hmm, 2001? Possibly 2002, and maybe yeah, they have got better, but so has Champ, bar the odd dodgy release like champ 4

I would advise anyone to play the champ series over LMA, but well, as you rightly say, everyone to their own =D>

As i think we were straying from the point somewhat in the other topic i thought i'd best split it. Feel free to continue this discussion here

Its not so much a discussion. If this was a boxing match, it would have been stopped some rounds ago.....

And who said that Juventus can`t lose when playing with for ex. Pisa...that is not realistic but it can happen

Between LMA and Champ I like both, but personally play more Champ (last LMA I played was 2001 indeed), but LMA isn't THAT bad.

I think its probably the fact you play it with a joypad that puts me off. Perhaps If I ever gave it a go on the PC, which isnt likely, but I should, I may enjoy it. The 3D match engine was always a decent touch.

LMA is not only unrealistic, lacks detail but is just plain wrong in every aspect of the game.

Championship manager is the best purely because the same thing can never happen twice. You cant just put players from a lower division team set a few tactics then start winning. You actually have to look at your players decide which tactic best suits them and then try it out etc etc.

Its no compeition tbh its like comparing Led Zeppelin with Chumbawumba. No comparision.

Hey guys, I have the solution: FM > CM and LMA :p

That's Football Manager by the way, not FIFA Manager.
