England were generally a sham, acted as if the game meant nothing, pride included. Hopefully this will act as a wake-up call to Sven & co.

But granted, Denmark are a good team.

Didn't seed it (wasted my time watching Brazilian draw #-o), but heard and seed the goals. Real nice match! Seems like someone needs a change of players there :o . For what I seed, Beckham made a great assistance to Rooney, don't? :?

Agreed. Only saw the highlights (thankfully) but England did look bad... Also we're paying the price re: David James, for having so many foreign goalkeepers in the premiership...

Agreed. Only saw the highlights (thankfully) but England did look bad... Also we're paying the price re: David James, for having so many foreign goalkeepers in the premiership...

Hmm how exactly does foreign goalkeepers affect James? He's number 1 choice at Manchester City and tbh the reason he was so poor is due to his lack of preparations and habit of arsing up simple plays.

His own fault no one else's also friendlies should be dismissed due to the fact England just dont learn anything from them and are a waste of resources and talent if it continues like it has!

I think it's fair to say that there is a lack of competition for the GK position due to the lack of English goalies plying their trade at the top level... sure there's an old thread on this somewhere as well.

I personally dont really care at all about England friendly games. Sven cant learn anything about a player from 45 minutes, which is all most nomrally get before the 11 subs at half time. They are meaningless. For once in my life, just once, I actually agree with something Graeme Souness has said.

i agree with u about this.
Plus i think that sven might aswell put his first 11, as we know he wont cahnge it, so we might aswell keep playing the same team. So they get use to playing with each other.
i also think that its stupid to have friendlies after one game into the season we should be have them just before the world cup

As much as i hate Sven i will defend him with the 45 minute rules which the premiership managers usually inforce and Sven's hands are tied with this.

Friendlys are pointless because we dont learn anything and with Sven in charge i dowt we will.

yeh we should let sven be able to play whoever he wants to for how long he wants to
