in polish press jaap stam is called ,,Dutch wall'' and i fully agree with them but terry is better.

I also think John Terry at the moment, but I'm sure some italians may beg to differ.

Lucio is better than them all. He is not only very strong in the air and on the floor, but he is far better going forward than all of those players, and is technically sound. He also has tremendoes vision, and often doesnt even need to slide into a tackle due to his positional sense

If we are going deep on finding players, then Ânderson (ex-Corinthians and actually Benfica) is surely the best. He is a natural leader and can stop even the most powerful forward (like Adriano :o ) with using only fair tackles. I'm sure he would solve the problem of Brazilian's defence (not wanting to blame, but I nearly cry when I see Roque Júnior and Juan playing). Unfortunately, he is gone, and now Corinthians keep making a lot of mistakes in the defence. I WANT HE BACK TO CORINTHIANS! :evil:

I voted for John Terry simply because of his form.

Agree with someone saying that Sol Cambell isnt that good.

I like Rio Ferdinand because he stays on his feet to takle cant think of another player who stays on there feet more.

I think that Nesta and Cannavaro are the best defensive pair in the world.

Jamioe Carragher should be on there Just for that display he gave against AC Milan. He stretched to stop a ball going to Shevchenko and pulled his muscle very badly and then he carried on and did the exact thing about a minute. He'd do anything for Liverpool but i cant say the same for Nesta, Stam, Cannavaro defo not Lucio(hes more defensive midfielder cant see him giving 100% for bayern) and Rio Ferdinand ( to wrapped up in the money)

Have to agrre with on Roque Junior he played for leeds in the year they got relegated from the premiership he was abosoulty awful(even my team Leicester City scored Four past him and the leeds defence) :lol:
