Personally that sounds great starting young entering young amateur tournaments getting loads of sponsors then particpating in the Grand slams. :D

Go for it SI!

What do you mean? It would be like a tennis game?

*sigh* no imagination....

Si, I got like 8 billion ideas for that..... there could be a lot of crossover fron NSS series as well. :)

It would be an action game, like NSS3. Not text like NSS2.

I would prefer New Star Soccer Manager.

There are hundreds of management games tbh, tennis star games are few and far between i think having a text implement like NSS2 would be great.

I think graphical implemenatation like NSS3 would be better.

I think a good direction to go is where you actually build yourself up through training and practice. It's better to earn a crack at a major tournament, be it in NSS3 or any other game, than be able to walk into a major final in only your second year (like FIFA for example).

Great idea, JJU. At least it wouldn't be so "unrealistic" if we would be able to get ourselves in the Wimbledon or the French Open Final in our 1st year. unless u're Agassi or Sharapova ( :? ??) of cos...

We could train and practice and earn our stripes through each Open and maybe by the 3rd year we would get our hands on the glassware...

I still have Speedball 2 knocking about somewhere :D Great game! Not sure if Si could better it though in all respect, as it already had the concepts of transfers, building players up etc... and even now is graphically okay considering it's the gameplay that makes it what it is.

It was re-released on the PS1 i think. Speedball 2000. A classic in it's time - check out http://www.the-underdogs.org/

Originally released in 1992!

I used to have speedball for the Amiga 500. What a game.

Get ball, run foward, drop ball. Level the goalkeeper. Score in the empty net. Its like a page from the Alan Shearer football tactics guide
