My second attempt at a career, since the first one ended prematurely as I forgot to back up my save games
He was unknown. He was a total stranger. If he asked a kid if he wanted an autograph, he'd just run off because his mommy tought him not to talk to strangers. But at the same time, he was... RUI. (hell, I wanted to put my name in a thread ) Nobody, and I mean nobody actually expected him to even pack one in. But he was talented, but he didn't want anybody to know. He was afraid of the media. But earlier on, he caught up with them and eventually stopped whining around because he didn't want any media attention.

SEASON 1
Week 1
Nothing to say about this week. Nothing special happened, except... the fact I got my first paycheck! I was so damn excited I went running to the bank to deposit it... my bank balance looked heavier. Our first game was gonna be against Leigh RMI. I wasn't scared at all... which couldn't be good as normally players are scared and nervous about their first impression. The first game can and will decide your life.
Result: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 1-1 LEIGH RMI
In what looked like it was gonna be easy, Leigh actually put some effort into the game. Still I managed to get a few passes around and an assist, but got a poor match rating of 6. My first impression wasn't great. Accrington Stanley started the season in the 10th position, while Telford Utd. was in the 1st position.
Week 2
Got another paycheck and got rated by SoccerAge.com as the most promising player this season. I couldn't leave my fans down after this :D The next game was gonna be against Morecambe, a game that wouldn't be easy.
Result: MORECAMBE 0-3 ACCRINGTON STANLEY
Looked like it was gonna be hard, but I activated selfishness mode and packed in a hattrick :D I didn't even bother passing around, but hey, it payed off... I was Man of the Match :D Eventually the media interviewed me and I dedicated my goals to my family and friends. We were in the 3rd position now... good start eh?
Week 3
So I trained a bit more hard and it payed off... I was getting lucky :) And I somehow managed to talk a team mate off his gambling problem! Looks like I was getting some kind of reputation :) Next game was gonna be against Halifax Town (yes JJU, your team in NSS3)
Result: HALIFAX TOWN 0-4 ACCRINGTON STANLEY
Looked like nothing actually, and apparently I forgot to take myself out of selfishness mode. Packed in 4 goals and dribbled 10 times. Any pass I attempted would result in failure. We were in the 2nd position now, yayy :D

SEASON 1
Week 4
Started sadly, as I found out one of my family members (my cousin) was living in a cheapo old rotten house. He eventually came to me for money, but unfortunately I didn't even have 5000£. So, I had to say no. It hurt me a lot to deny him a new house though, and my family was not happy at all. They called me selfish. I entered in a giant discussion with my parents with a lot of swearing, insults and problems. I left home, so I wouldn't end up saying something of the which I would regret of. I then came to my safety zone, a bar. And eventually drank a lot and my manager was not happy... neither was my family. I stayed away from home for a while and then moved to a hotel, until I could afford a house or regreted everything I've done so far and went back to my parents.
Our next game was against Forest Green Rover, a game that looked easy. Let's see what happens...
RESULT: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 2-0 FOREST GREEN ROVER
We won, but I couldn't pull nothing good out of the game, not even a goal. I totally missed important and easy chances, probably because of my confidence after my personal issues. I had to get past that but it looked impossible at the moment, as my family was the most important thing to me. And I couldn't go back home, as it would look like I was telling them they were right, and I don't know how to swallow my pride, it tastes bad. Maybe I should get some ketchup  Anyway, we were in 1st place, I think that's enough consolation for me.
Week 5
So a website poll rated me as the best player in Accrington Stanley... so what? I didn't care at all at that moment, which is a bad attitude, because I knew all my teammates wanted to be in my place. Yes, we were quite a competitive team. Our next game was against Dagenham and Redbridge, a game that looked hard for me, especially because I wasn't over my issues yet.
Result: DAGENHAM AND REDBRIDGE 3-3 ACCRINGTON STANLEY
A tuff fight since the start, harder because Dagenham scored first and according to a few math geeks, the first team to score has 1 in 7 chances to win the game. That's like... 14% chances? Well we had none because we were losing, so yeah, they were better. Anyways I packed in a hattrick, passed and dribbled a lot, somehow :| Oh and, needless to say I was MotM. In the interview I didn't care about dedicating anything to my family. In fact, in the interview, I flamed them a lot, saying stuff like "My dad beat me up when I was a little child" and "My mom dropped me on my head when I was 2". They were pretty discontent, but why should I care?
 Good reading, look forward to seeing more.
btw, GO HALIFAX!

SEASON 1
Week 6
Since training was canceled because there were a few problems in our stadium, I went jogging in the park. I eventually got tired and went to a café to get me a drink, and ran into my dad. He was not pleased with what I had said in the interview and said, probably because he was very nervous, that I was no longer his son. I punched him and ran off crying, devastated. My life had become a wreck. Our next game was gonna be against Burton Albion, and I had promised myself to put everything behind my back and that I would focus on the game.
RESULT: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 8-2 BURTON ALBION
Was a goal fest, especially because I was irritated and wanted to forget every single problem I had. I packed in 7 goals and made an assist, trying not to think about my family. And of course I was Man of the Match (if I wasn't, I'd just stop playing ) In the interview, I stated to the press what my dad had told me earlier that week. The media couldn't get off me and my family now.
Week 7
The week started off just fine, and as I was looking for a new house, I got a call from New Balance. They wanted to sponsor my boots for 2 years and they would pay me 48000£ each year. Of course I accepted. I got my money immediately and started searching for houses that were up for rent. Next game was against Farnborough Tow.
RESULT: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 7-1 FARNBOROUGH TOW
Was a pretty easy game, where I packed in 7 goals. And almost scored an own goal  I was Man of the Match, but my teammates were getting mad at me because I wouldn't pass the ball, I just kept on dribbling and shooting and I didn't want to pass. I was a BALL HOG. xD
Week 8
Was a very very calm week, with only one highlight: Morecambe had a new chairman. He put some money into the club, which could be a threat for us. When Accrington and Morecambe met each other earlier this season, we won 3-0, so maybe it wouldn't be such a problem. Next game was gonna be against Woking, a game that looked a bit hard. Probably because I was a ball hog, according to my mates. They're just jealous of me having a sponsorship deal and I being able to pack a goal each game and they can't. Bah.
RESULT: WOKING 4-9 ACCRINGTON STANLEY
We started off losing four nill, so I had to put myself in selfishness mode because I knew that if I didn't move, nobody would. I packed in 6 and was MotM (what a surprise xD) and my mates regreted what they said earlier. Ha ha.
Week 9
I might have found my dream house :D The rent was 500£ each month, so I could afford it. I moved in right before the game and got to the game against Tamworth Utd. late, but my manager understood why.
RESULT: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 14-1 TAMWORTH UNITED
Rating: 10, shots: 10, goals: 10. I aced the game easily with a few passes and 10 goals. Tamworth weren't playing at full potential for sure... or at least the goalkeeper wasn't! Who concedes 14 goals in the same game?! I prefered to not give an interview to the media as I was tired because I moved right after the game, played and I don't have infinite stamina! We were now in the 1st position with Hereford United behind us. We were only 1 point ahead.

SEASON 1
Week 10
The Portuguese national team coach, António Oliveira, was very pleased about my performances and he said I was the best player he had seen this season! Obviously he hasn't been watching Benfica playing  Our next game was against Shrewsbury and I had a special morale boost because of the NT coach comment :)
RESULT: SHREWSBURY 1-8 ACCRINGTON STANLEY
Hell, I was motivated! I scored 7 goals in 7 shots, made an assist and dribbled a lot! But I had some trouble while dribbling... I need to train my pace as I am a turtle on the pitch :D I dedicated the goals to my friends... but I remember the last time I dedicated goals... it went WRONG!
Week 11
There were a few fights and problems after the game because of racism. The media asked me my opinion about the racism incident and, because I wanted to get reknown, I said everyone can have his own opinion. I made a lot of people think I was racist, but I just wanted attention. The next game was against Northwich Victoria. *registers the player* *uses the skill points*
RESULT: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 6-1 NORTHWICH VICTORIA
Rating: 9. I missed a few important easy chances that could have decided the game earlier... I don't know what happened. I couldn't dribble. I couldn't pass. If I can't pass nor dribble, my career may end! What's happening to me? Am I missing my family? That's impossible... I guess.
Week 12
I went to training as usual, but as soon as I was leaving home, I got a call from Brooks. Must be because of the order I placed last week :P But no, it wasn't. They wanted to sponsor my equipment. 64000£ a year... If they and New Balance had come earlier I could have afforded the house for my cousin! I accepted. Next game was against Margate, who were below expectations. And for my surprise, I was selected as capitain for the match! :D
RESULT: MARGATE 1-1 ACCRINGTON STANLEY
Hehe... I guess I got a bit carried away with the capitain thing. It took me 54 minutes to score a goal! It was my worst performance ever. I couldn't pass nor dribble, again. Rating: 4. I screwed everything up. I truly missed my family, but there was nothing I could do about it.

SEASON 1
Week 13
People usually say 13 means bad luck. Apparently it does because the week started awfully as I got a letter from my mother's attorney. Apparently I really wasn't my dad's son. I was totally devastated. She wanted me to be a witness in the divorce hearing. God I was sad. I ripped the letter into pieces and threw them in the bin. I tried to forget that. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't eat. I could only think of what my life was turning into because of football. Was it a bad move to move into the football world? This week's game was against Hereford United. Let's see what happens...
RESULT: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 3-1 HEREFORD UNITED
Scored the three goals and missed a few shots, maybe because I was still mad at my parents. I took advantage of the fact I was MotM and commented on the divorce thing. I stated to the press I would fully support my mother and said a couple of lies flaming my dad, a few arguments I was gonna use next week in the hearing.
Week 14
Today was the day of the hearing. I was there to flame my dad and make everyone think he was violent and crazy so my mom could have the divorce. So I stated he assaulted me when I was younger and that I had seen him slapping my mom a few times. When it was his time to talk, he passed out. We called an ambulance and apparently he had an heart attack from all the stress and pressure. He was rushed to the hospital and he had to stay there. I didn't want to stay with someone that pretended to be my father all this time and that didn't like me. I left the hospital and went training. As I was leaving the hospital the media wouldn't let me go. I accidently (or on purpose?) punched a journalist and kicked him in the face. Then I ran off to the bus station and lucky me, the bus was right there. I went to the stadium for training. Our next game was against Gravesend and Northfleet.
RESULT: GRAVESEND AND NORTHFLEET 2-3 ACCRINGTON STANLEY
If I didn't play, we would have lost. I scored the winning goal with a powerful shot right at the end of the match. Apparently I didn't give a damn about my father or my family. I was becoming a bit selfish. Who knew me before I went to the football world and who knows me now, thinks I ripped my heart off and dumped it in the river. Well at least we were in the 1st place.
Week 15
I didn't care about nothing else but football now. Didn't I look nicer at the start of the season? Well so much for niceness. Life ain't fair and I have to learn to live with that. Next game was against Exeter. Easy peasy.
RESULT: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 2-0 EXETER
What a poor performance I put on. I scored both goals but had a rating of... wait for it... 5! 2/8 shots went in :| What the hell was happening to me? I kept on training but it wasn't working. :(
Come back later for more misery

SEASON 1
Week 16
Still angry because of my previous display, I started the week pretty bad when I punched a news reporter that was waiting for me to come out of my house. He was waiting by the door for a chance to get a shot of my angry face and ended up getting a picture of my fist. Suck on that. To keep my arrogance up, I spit on his face and squashed his camera. I had to pay him because of this and ended up having to make 100 hours of community service, all because of a stupid reporter. Bah. Next day wasn't exactly the best too because a friend came to me talking about his problem with drugs. I, reluctantly, offered him 10.000£ to pay his treatment, but I swear that if he comes to me again I'll punch him too! Now for the interesting details: Next game was against Barnet, who were in the 6th place. What will happen? We'll see.
RESULT: ACCRINGTON STANLEY 8-3 BARNET
Well our manager wasn't expecting anything but a defeat and his dreams came true. Fortunately I got a better, yet unfair rating of 9 for my hattrick. Took me 5 shots and a lot of silly passes that ended up in row Z but I got it. I was back. And I was Man of the Match too, in case you haven't realized yet
Week 17
For some probably very weird reason, it started off pretty well, when I got a call at 6:00 AM from Brooks. It wasn't about my order again, order I made in the 12th week... it was about my sponsorship contract. They wanted to extend it for another year! Then it would expire in 2003 and I would get more 64.000£. I know you all think I said yes. And I did :D. Back to the important stuff, next game was against Aldershot. Looked pretty easy to me, specially because i had a lot of confidence. Why? Because I was the capitain!
RESULT: ALDERSHOT 1 - 3 ACCRINGTON STANLEY
Was a bit hard because the defence looked like they knew me pretty well, I was barely allowed to move tonight! Only scored 2 goals and got a poor rating of 8, because any shot I tried was blocked!
Seperate note: Before I end this post I would like to say I am very happy that this game runs under Vista. :D

Apologies for the delay, but there's the matter of NSS4 having come out and tests and problems with Ana! by the way, enough of the posting full of style with the tabbing and paragraphing and all, now I'm gonna write my future career posts normally :) And so you'll get an idea about mine/my player's state of mind, I'll write what was I listening to (or if I wasn't) while writing this.

Listening to The Heart of Everything by Within Temptation.
Week 18:
Getting sick and tired of all my family and personal issues, I decided to focus really hard on my career. And what I also wanted to focus on was on knowing whatever happened to my order from Brooks :D But we'll get on that. Following the game against Aldershot, Accrington was on the 1st place with 48 points and promotion was closer and closer and closer and well, that only meant I had to focus even harder than I had before to make sure we'd get past the violent, harsh and dreadful waves on the ocean we call the Conference. Also following the match from last Sunday, the newspapers were liking me more and more and making more and more articles about me and selling more and more. Now about the next match... it was gonna be against Telford United, who were buried deep in the league table (in the 9th place, maybe not so buried )
ACCRINGTON STANLEY 3-1 TELFORD UNITED
Yet another victory and another MOTM award in my 100000 inches wide cabinet where I store all my MOTM trophies. In case you're wondering why it's so big, it's because I know I'll be the next Cristiano Ronaldo. But with less arrogance. Not 0% because all players have to be arrogant, but since I don't want to raise any OT discussions or controversy here, enough of this. Scored 3 goals in the 1st half and failed all shots (another 5 shots) after half time.
Small update I know but hey, being tired can take all will you might have off you!
