I really like the way NSS4 is being projected. It sounds great and more fun. What i would like to see is the items you buy as a player having some practical use. Maybe something similar to Sim Taxi.(NOt exatcly but similar). This, though should be done without taking the focus off the soccer becoz that is the main part.

Hope NSS4 comes out fast!!

Yes, it's something I've wanted since NSS3. There seems little point in buying up all these flash cars and stuff if they have no effect. My personal preference is for some sort of ability to decorate your home with them, Animal Crossing / Sims style. It's always fun. Going further, having some of them open up mini-games would be ace (bought a pool table? Have a game!) but of course the focus should be on getting the core football game as good as possible.

One possible simple tweak might be to use certain items as a way of boosting happiness. For example, if you're a small time player in a semi-professional league and feeling a little blue, you could buy yourself a new games console and get a little boost, rather than getting wasted on alcohol. As you move up the footballing ladder with bigger and bigger wages, your spending has to increase with it. Suffering a tad before the World Cup Final? Buy a Meditteranean Island! Alcohol would always remain a constant cheap price, so if you're playing poorly and haven't the cash you can always get drunk to boost your confidence but at the risk of angering your manager and falling over a lot on the pitch.

Sure, it's an incredibly sloppy way of dealing with real life problems, anyone who's ever suffered from depression could tell you that the combined talents of Zooey Deschanel and Alyson Hannigan couldn't snap you out of it, but it's not really depression in the game anyway, just "feeling a little down and in need of a treat."
