Home internationals are a good idea, but they wont take off, as the argument as already been raised elsewhere, with fixture congestion being too great. plus it will (currently) be one sided, as England are by far the best team results wise of the last few years. When was the last time Scotland and wales reached major finals?

Maybe a good idea.
But I 've heard there were England vs Scotland annual football match
And has already stopped for many years.

Because at the time scotland and england were closer, made for a better game, i do believe there was a classic instant where the jocks wrecked wembley after one of the games and this could have been why it was stopped. They used to be full on wars tho, proper belting matches, can't ever imagine club teams releasing their players for those these days, knowing of possible injuries

I'd like to see them return, but with a clear promise of severe sanctions in the event of any hooliganism. A small league or straightforward knock-out tournament every 2 years (inbetween WC and EC) would be quite nice actually!

i know england would win it every year but 1 every ten
but it would help the other teams so much
coz wales, scotland and norten ireland would really want to beat them plus play against them too really
