Hi,

i am playing NSS3 and its a great game. But sometimes i miss the possibility to play the game with some friends on one Computer.
Is a multiplayer-feature planned for NSS4 ? That would be great. You could fight with your friends for the best contracts or the position in a club-team or the national-squad.

Hi Soha,

yes it would be great. I#ve played a similar game from a german programmer.
NSS3 is much better than that game, but there you can play with up to 4 or 8 players. It was great fun to play in the same team together, but also in against each other in the same league. :D

I think it's on the maybes, so hope that Si has it in mind for NSS4 or SS2 :)

I think he may be referring to a game by Andreas Oswald IIRC.

Can't remember if it was multi-player though, or its name!

Sorry!

Edit: Championship Soccer (It's not that good though, last time I played!)

Multi-player would be a amazing addition to the already superb New Star Soccer range ;)

Yes, its Championship Soccer from A. Oswald. From his Forum i got the info of NSS. THe games are similar, but NSS have much more options like CS and its interface is horrible. But the multiplayer-option in CS is really cool. NSS4 schould get this option too, that would be really great.

Can't remember it's been too long since I played it.

From memory if think you can add yourself to the national team and then play against the Faroes Islands, well, or anyone to get a feel for the game.

All I can remember was that it was a poor clone of Sensible Soccer without any of the things that make NSS special (the "real life" bits, ease of control etc.)

not in the single player edition, no. but there may be another NSG game where multiplayer support is, well, supported.

Yes thats right.

NSS3 is much better. The only thing that is as good as NSS3 is the gameplay. Its nearly the same. But the possibilities at NSS3 are much bigger than in AOCS. And thats the reason NSS3 is miles in front.

Just Multiplayer is missing ;)

It would be brilliant if that could happen. Also multi-player games on the net where you need 22 players to have a game. One player each obviously.

The trouble with multi-player NSS is that you have to co-ordinate the whole game, maybe you could play co-ordinated independent matches but not have whole careers unless on the same computer.

Maybe this should be a future development? Like KO2 where you could import Player Manager teams.

So...maybe you should be able to export an NSS team, and import it into maybe SS2.

But seeing as NSS4 isn't finished, Si's hiatus, and the time needed to develop SS2 (if at all), I wouldn't hold your breathe.

The idea with the import and export is really good. But i think that would be hard to develop because the stats and further results of games, championships, transfers etc are different in each game. So one of the players have to leave his "world" and is imported into another which has totally developed different to his.

I would be happy if it would just be possible to play NSS4 with some friends at the same comp.

Playing together = celebrating titles together
playing against = tackle them from the pitch, hehe ;)

nothing would be better than this^ ;]
the best way would be playing two careers in the same time anyway :P

btw Maggu- look to private messages plz ;)

True, i said that a million times already, the only reason why i get tired of NSS3 is that there's no multiplayer option.

In my opinion,it should be a must in the next one.

Fabrizio Gatti

I believe there's a chance for it in SS2 ;)

But that wouldn't mean playing a career together, but playing cups, tournaments etc together :)
