first of all it's my first career in the game and it's on 'Pro'
It all started when my parents suddenly decided to move to Switzerland.
for me,it was like the worst thing ever happend.an Bolivian boy,just 16 suddenly separated from all of his friends,school and worst-football.
I was playing at La Paz Juniors for all my life.I remember the first time I saw this amazing sport soccer.my father took me to game,to be precise the last fixture in World cup Qualifactions.Bolivia was last place and they played against Brazil,the result was 5-0 to Brazil,but when I saw the game,what can I say?I fell in love.
week after I went to join La Paz Juniors and since then I played football as a striker,my coach said I have the potential to be one of the best Bolivian striker ever.seven years passed since that day and so just like that to move to Switzerland was a big shock to me.
when we land in Basel's airport it was all snowy,somthing I've never seen in my whole life.the air was cold and all those 3 layers I had really didn't helped me from freezing.
after a week or two I went to Basel FC U18 to play regular football like in Bolivia,they gave me a trial and I showed them what a know,it was really good and I got accepted to the team.
the football in Switzerland is nothing like the football in Bolivia,I had the hardest time to fit in the gruope,and my english wasn't very good and I couldn't communicated with the rest of the squad.
one year after a suprise was waiting for me in the mail box.
I got advence to the senior,it was pretty shocking.
I was only 16 and even though I was the best player in the U18 team,still just 16 years old and already senior player? I just couldn't belive it!
maybe all those troubles of moving to Switzerland weren't so bad after all...
The First Match
the time was 8:00 o'clock,I just woke up at my room.the day-Saturday.
in a few hours I'll walk on the field,on the green grass and touched the ball for my first time in my professional career.
we played against Aarau.it was really cold day(and for Bolivian boy really really cold)I was nervous like I've never been.
the referee whistle his whistle and the game was on.my first touch was a great pass to my team mate Mladen Petric a great Croatian player.ans so on,the game got to the half time.
my manager had a privet talk with me,nothing bad of course,still it's my first match but some notes.
still 0-0 and just 4 minutes to the end of the game,I got the ball.I pass a defender and now one on one with the keeper,I bet on the right and shoot!
and it's scored!!! 1-0 in the end and great match.
after the match I got compliments from all the squad and most important form the manager.great starting in Basel and my dreams to become football star got bigger and bigger.
