Not much of a writer...don't be too harsh :P

The name's Alex Gali.

A regular canadian. That's me. Half polish, half sudanese. Ever since soccer got popular at my school, I watched too. I figured out who my favorite soccer player was after awhile. Andriy Shevchenko. The one and only. Every chance I got to see him play, I would. From Milan, to Chelsea. Chelsea eventually became my favorite team, with Drogba, Shevchenko, Essien, Ballack, Lampard and more, it was quite the deadly team. So when I heard they were trying out for the youth team, I was immediatly packing my bags to England. My parents finally let me go.

Practise, practise, practise. At the age of 16, it finally happened. The manager said that my role in the main team of Chelsea is secure. I would play my first game that Saturday. Unbelieveable! I was so nervous, excited...but I couldn't believe it. So there came the game. So many years ago, I can't even remember who we played. Of course, I screwed up. Over. And over. And over. After atleast 10 games of terribleness, it happened. My first goal. I can actually remember it so clearly. I tried tackling the defender and I accidently long range kicked it. It chipped over the keeper, and it was in. Wow. Just wow. After that, I became an instant star with the Chelsea fans.

Around this time I finally got my first Poland national caps, and my chance to finally show the international team that I was worth it. Again, I was a star.

Many of my fellow teammates figured I was too much of a soloist, so I felt so bad. Were they actually right? After 138 games and a legendary 228 goals for Chelsea, at the age of 19, I handed in my transfer request. It was time to move on. The thought of playing deadly through balls for Eto'o intrigued me. So where would I go then?

Not sure if that link will work though, if it doesn't let me know.

Thanks alot guys! Here's a short one :P

Eto'o. Amazing player. I could try get my chance at Barcelona. My luck, they wanted me.

My ex manager of Chelsea wouldn't let me go that easy. Many offers, etc..till he finally called me into his office.

"I'll pay you whatever, just don't. Chelsea's become the best in the world with you! Win the games for us!"

"I'm looking for a team. Sorry."

I walked out.

A few days after that, it was my first game at Barcelona. It was me and Gudjohnsen up front. I kept making mistakes and scoring every now and then, but finally...hat tricks. Again and again.

My career at Barcelona seemed promising. But where was Eto'o? He was never playing unless I was substitued. Doesn't he deserve to be on? Strange. The player I wanted to play with doesn't ever play. Should I leave Barcelona?

My career for Poland was beautiful looking. I was scoring many goals, and we made it to our first world cup, the 2006. I was unfortunately injured, so my striking partner Smolarek was all on his own. We didn't make it far at all.

The euro 2008 was coming up, and we were destroying on the qualifiers. So then it came. We won pretty much every game with ease, all the way up to the finals, Poland vs. Netherlands. A stressful but easy game, with us winning 3-0. So there we had it. Poland made an amazing smash for the Euro, and now we have won the respect and heart of billions.

That was a lil..bit..longer then an hour wasn't it?

Anyways...

I handed in my transfer papers. I just decided I should. So after everyone once again told me not to go, I finally decided to stay, just for abit longer.

Of course we were dominating. We easily won so many games. So finally I decided I did well enough. It was time for me to go.

It took till January before any teams wanted me. I was thinking hard about who I wanted to play with. I sort of wanted to play in England again, with Diouf.

Unfortunately, Bolton didn't want me.

Camara, also a Senegalese striker, was also very good. So I decided Wigan would be intersting. After going through atleast 80 offers, including many from the same clubs who really wanted me, the Wigan opportunity came. So of course, after getting my wage up a lil bit more then they offered, I joined.

I'm sorry, just curious, you're Senegalese in the career??

Tomer, Wonder... please try and avoid making the same kinda post repeatedly each time this thread is updated. Remember, there are no prizes for the highest post-count, and if there were Si has already fixed it so he'd win

Eventually I'll get around to replying to this. :P

Actually, Fabrizio Gatti, I'm polish in the career. In reality I was born and lived my whole life in Canada, but my background is Polish(mom) and Sudanese(dad). Because of my dad, I've taken interest into the african national teams because I feel they have huge potential, so that's why I like Senegal(Diop, Diouf, Camara...) and other teams(Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast)

Edit : Did you mean because I said "also a senegalese striker"? I was referring to Diouf and Camara both being from Senegal. Sorry :P.

Fabrizio Gatti
12-02-2006, 03:30 PM
I mean because it would be a good explanation for your interest in senegales players :)

Actually in last world cup I was supporting three teams:
France - finished 2nd
Ukraine - top 8
Ivory Coast - did well in 1st round in my opinion :) and a promising African team

Master Chief123

You were supporting Ukraine? Awesome, they were my favorite team this world cup. Shevchenko, Kalinichenko, Shovkovski...all players of talent.(sheva my fav :P) I was also rooting for Ghana(amazing against Czechs) and Ivory Coast because of Drogba and the two Kalous :P

Ivory Coast did do very well, especially against Argentina and Netherlands, because they were close. About the Argentina game, Drogba said what I figure is very smart.

"The difference between big teams like Argentina and small teams like us," Drogba said, "is that the big teams make the small teams pay for their mistakes. When you play opponents like Argentina, when you make little mistakes, you pay."

I supported Ghana and Spain but nither did well.......

I think Ghana could've done better if they didn't face BRAZIL! :blimey: They must've been scared :P. Also, I think it would've helped if Essien was playing. Ah well.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

64 games. 221 goals. That was my record for Barcelona.

Unfortunately though it still didn't feel right. At Wigan though, I was excited for my first game.

So the day came.

Unfortunately, Camara didn't play. Euell(plays for Middlesbrough) and another striker were with me. So I just decided to be selfish and score as much as I could, not passing unless I absolutely had to.

So then came a new player. Also from Middlesbrough, we had Maccarone with me now. Immidiately we made an amazing team. Since Wigan was near last place, we didn't want to be knocked down to the championship did we? So we have to start fighting.

And that we did.

I think my favourite from Ukraine is Anatoliy Tymoschuk, tough I have to recognize Milevskiy has a bright future ahead ;)

Nando
12-03-2006, 08:16 PM
I was supporting Portugal :D (4th), Angola (Didn't make it in the first round in the same group as Portugal) and Togo...

Master Chief123
12-08-2006, 12:59 PM
Tymoschuk is a very good player, I have to agree. Milevskiy should get more games on Ukraine, he looks pretty good.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

So Maccarone and I, dominating. We were one of the last places in the Premier but we got brought up to the top 10 really fast. Pretty soon, we were in first, and we were staying there for a long time.

Even though we were good together, Wigan was pretty boring. I couldn't see why. Maybe cause the only players I know are strikers? The rest are just...there. We don't really have a partnership or anything. At Barcelona me and Xavi worked well, and at Chelsea, Robben on the wing really helped me. But now...

It was the same every game. Goal goal goal goal goal, win...

Meanwhile, Poland was still dominating the Euro qualifiers, this time for 2012. A easy 6-0 win over Russia, 8-0 over Andorra, and 4-0 over Slovakia. Smolarek and I had the amazing teamwork, of course. I shoot, he'd get the rebound and vice versa. He'd get me a hat trick, I'd get him one. So I started thinking about my move again. Where should I go? Borussia? What if he's never used, and maybe it'll be me and Frei?

But you know, seeing what I've been doing all the time, I took my chance!

FACT

Did you know that Germany's top striker Klose and the new youth promise Podolski are both Polish born ??

Master Chief123
12-08-2006, 11:53 PM
Yes. I did know that :P. Same with Radzinski, Canada's top striker. Whatever happened to the Poland of 1974? Ah well, they give me some hope this Euro beating Portugal 2-1 and Belgium 1-0.

Portugal is always the example to when it comes to another team winning... :P

There are a lot of national teams that are what they are because of players from different countries...

I think probably Switzerland is the squad with most foreign players, in the world cup there were like 6 or 7 at their squad :)

So at Borussia, things looked good. I looked at Smolarek's appearances, and there were alot, and he was our team's top goal scorer, so that looked good. So my first game, me and Ceiro(not sure who this player is, using in-game name) were up.

Wait a minute, not again! That did NOT look good.

So the next game..and the game after that, me and Ceiro. Then, finally, a game with Smolarek, him scoring 4 and me 3. Why would you not want to keep a partnership like that...well...partners? Ceiro was on after that over and over again, so now again I'm considering my leave. I'm going to try to finish atleast this last season. It's currently Sept. 26th, 2012. Poland has just recently won the world cup with a 2-0 win over Netherlands, both goals by me.

So I'm relaxing being the world's best. Generally I'm pretty darn happy.

For now.

Fabrizio Gatti
12-15-2006, 06:24 PM
Try and hit him hard in the head (Ceiro) maybe that way you can get to play with Smolarek
