PART 1.
"Where is my baggage? I'm already late, taxi is waiting me. Airport is waiting me. England is waiting me. Oh, there my stuff is."
Finding me in London, front of the gates of Heathrow, lack of an idea where to go next. So I head to a train station. I saw a text, "Oxford", in the terminal. Okay, so that was clear, to Oxford. Didn't take a long time to smell the atmosphere of Oxford.
Next thing was soccer. Where can I play it. I've heard that Oxford plays in Conference, which is quite low, and at the same time good for me. Neither did this take a long waiting to be on the field.
Suddenly I was training hard with the team. I didn't play yet, just trying to use both feet and rising up my fitness. I tried to control the ball, which is now much easier, while I'm running with the ball.
Then the day had come. My first appearance to Oxford. It was a cup match, the manager felt like I was doing great job and earned my place on the right side of the field as an attacker. The opponent was not an easy to bite. Queens Park Rangers is always tough. We started very well, and first 45 ended up on 0-0. Second half, manager told me to do everything. So I did. My first ever assist was there. Home sweet Oxford. The supporters was yelling at my name. But... I got an injury, the doctor said just a one week. So I waited. By the way, we won the match 1-0.
My 2nd appearance was against Wolverhampton, a cup match again. We started as well as we can. I assisted the first goal of the match. Wolverhampton wasn't afraid of a conference team, they equalised the match. To the second half. I got my first goal around 70 min. Crowd was disappointed, because Wolverhampton was the home team.
I waited for the next cup match, but my confidence was low, and being in the minor age, I couldn't take a bottle. Chelsea won 2-0. I was feeling bad that I couldn't show any skills to Mourinho, or to any other big clubs.
So did the January come. My wage was 460£ per week. And wanted the amount to be little higher, so I had a plan. I said that I want to play for bigger teams, in other words I started some rumours of being unhappy in Oxford. So I ended the rumours by searching a bigger contract with Oxford, and I managed. 3 600£/week is quite good. Our manager
has tactical skills more than other skills, so he managed to keep me.
My first appearance in the Conference was a good start to rise Oxford from 11th place to top 3. I made 2 goals, and 1 assist, winning Gravesend and Northfleet 3-0.
Second match wasn't a bad match either. Exeter is on 3rd spot, so our 2-0 win was a surprise. I got 1 goal and 1 assist.
Now I'm waiting that some bigger clubs would like to see me playing for Oxford, and I could play for team Finland. I'm thinking if Conference would give any help to grove my skills, I would like to play in a Finnish team, and continue to neighbour countries or travel with a bigger distance.
