I thought it could be a nice idea to open a thread in which you could arrange matches for online playing. Make sure you get the correct time if you're in different gmt zones ok?

Got a problem, when I open the online option, I can see Siread, the when I click on him for playing nothing happens. What can I do?

maybe that was someone who didnt change his name in the .txt. i doubt Si would stay there for hours :)

Oops, i forgot to change the txt file from siread to guest. Anyone had a successful match yet?

I haven't but I'm to keep trying everytime I see anyone.
Is it supposed to work by only changing the .txt file? as I believe everyone should have any important settings arranged before we all start seeking matches.
Could you include a help file in the downloadable file for SS Si?
The more people who get to go online, the more chances of matches (and replies to my topic heeheh :))

even when installing the latest version. Obviously some sort of registry issue but I tend to avoid fiddling unless I have to, and let's face it, we shouldn't have to!

Strange. I used a different profile for the security which I thought would fix the expiry issue. I even renamed the exe.

I can play perfectly, but i get a "Timeout error. Could not connect to the server" sign everytime I try to play online games

If I'm hosting, it never even shows anyone trying to get into my computer on my firewall, as if they never even reached my computer.

I tried to connect with kaldow 5 mins ago and I got the same timeout error so I guess the game has a server error :(

Couple of things:

-I'd change the font used in stats and players names in squad selection to a bit bolder one, so that it can be read more easily.

-In penalties the names of my players were only shown right after shooting.

I think you're right about the font in stats, but also believe that solving the online playing stuff is the most important thing now

NEW RULES FOR THE THREAD!!!!!!!

Now that online gameplay should be a little different, I thought we could still use this thread for arranging matches. I don't mean this to be an IP carnival, but to be a place where you can arrange when to be connected, and probably giving each other msn (or similar) adresses.
I'm open to try the new gameplay, just pm me or write me you adress here and the time you could play ok?

Hey Fabrizio, Im also willing to try the online gameplay, unfortunately I always have problems when trying to host an online game, it appears to be some kind of port block that I honestly dont understand and would require permission from my bro which I can assure you I wont get. But well, at least we could try, I will PM to see what can we do...
