Sorry it's late, but here it is. A feast for your eyes!

Edit: NEW! View the goals in video format:

http://www.newstarsoccer.com/goalofthemonth.htm

Download the 10 candidates from the following link and extract the .rep files into your Game\Replays folder.

http://replays.newstargames.com/GOTM_MAR/MarchContenders.zip

If you want to watch all of the entries then download this file:

http://replays.newstargames.com/GOTM_MAR/MarchEntrants.zip

I will try to create 10 wmv files so you can watch a movie replay of the goals. Hopefully by the end of today. :)

I have also made the voting Public, so we will see who votes for who. This will just help keep an eye on things. You CAN voted for yourself. :)

Meh, I wish March was 31 days longer, I had exams so I only scored 5 goals, let alone good ones. :D

That diving header was a real beauty, and was really different as well, so it gets my vote.

I went for Nikola Milic's goal. Im sure I have voted for a similar goal before but its just that I love the way they control the ball and finish a good play superbly.

Can't belive mine didn't get in the top ten!!!

Have a look!

It's in the "all entries" download called...

PrestSheff1.rep

Watch it from the "reverse" camera! there's some right bend on the ball to take it away from the keeper, and from about 30 yards out.

Some in the top ten are boring.

Simon? Did anything come about of that idea of making the videos watchable without installing them? You said yesterday that it should be done by the end of that day but since it's afternoon already I assume it ran into some kind of snag.. so any clue on when/if they'll come available? I've been resisting checking on the goals but I'm getting curious from the prior reviews. ;)

No. 6 is an awsome shot, to me it even looks like a shot from the outside of the right-boot!!!!

And it is on expert mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks makelw :D, I personally thought Pino's Dribble was a brilliant solo run and goal, feel slightly bad about voting for my own goal  but I hope you'll forgive me as its my first time

Ok, videos are up:

They are a little blurred but you should be able to see what's going on. The close-up cam is useful. :)

Can't belive mine didn't get in the top ten!!!

It's a great goal, i just felt the keeper should have done better. I tend to be rather harsh if the keeper fluffs it or if the ball isn't right in the corner of the goal.

Sorry mate. Better luck next time. :)

It was difficult to decide what to vote for... Many great goals. :)

And another off topic thing from me - I have entered my first goals of the month contenders, finally I am scoring some nice goals. I will wait and see if they are any good though!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went #8 because the competition is a little harder, and because I can't score often on the autoshot :)

I've voted for Nikola Milic, as he showed a good 1st touch, then with his second touch, sent the ball past the helpless keeper. But, I wasn't that impressed with any of the goals this month, to be honest! One or two of the Amateur goals would have been quite impressive ... If they were scored on a higher difficulty, where you don't have quite such control over the ball!

I'm also not sure why Alex Reeves freekick goal is there!

Don't get me wrong, it's a perfectly decent goal ... But I just don't see it as being a particularly "special" goal! I've scored many a freekick goal like that one in my time playing NSS on Expert.

Meh, I dunno ... Maybe my standards are just too high!

Meh, to be honest I'm a bit miffed at the way people always vote for a goal if it's on a higher difficulty. What would you rather have in real life, a lob from the halfway line in the 2nd division or a low skimmer in the Premiership? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to flame you, I just reckon there should be a seperate competition for harder goals.

Meh, to be honest I'm a bit miffed at the way people always vote for a goal if it's on a higher difficulty.

I generally vote for a goal that was scored on Expert because it takes more skill to score that goal.

To get my vote, a goal has to be more than just a great goal. You need to have shown a huge amount of skill as well. If you just measure the goals on face value, then the best goal would be something like Neil Studd's lob. It's an amazing goal, but try scoring that on Expert and see what happens! It would take a lot more skill (and a good slice of luck) to pull that off, then, I think. For me, skill ranks ahead of just a pretty goal. I believe we should be rewarding the best players, the ones who show the most skill.

I just reckon there should be a seperate competition for harder goals.

Maybe there should be, but Si isn't made of money and can't afford to keep giving stuff away for free!

AfterDeath

Heh heh, fair point.

But sometimes the skill is scoring a great goal. Just because control has barely any effect in Amateur, doesn't mean that it should be marked down.

I wish to thank to everyone who voted for me...I still don`t know which of goals I sent is in the list... :)

1 - Brian Pace - Amateur - Long Range Drive

9 - Neil Studd - Amateur - Lob

Well I went through my recent goals for April and the best goal by far was on Amateur mode unfortunately, but it's a really outstanding goal (angle, header, defenders positioning). So would you rather have someone control the ball and get it home like I do every single time or some flair involved? You don't know the attributes of the player you watch on these, or the situation.
