i was playing nss2,into my 5th season, lots of money etc etc, when all of a sudden the game shut down on me,as i'd last saved 4 months previous i did'nt bother to restart,i instead started a new game,to get your new player rich quick buy up cars and property with your old game player and click 'spend' then 'send item' enter your player name and email address then click 'send' a box should come up with a code,go back to your new game click 'spend' then 'receive item' and enter the code, you can only receive each item once,if you do this at the start sell all items and use the cash to boost your friends and family relationship this will help you play better and even if you did keep all items you would'nt be able to afford to mantain them! i was on £1200 a week, received the 8 most expensive cars and 6 most expensive propertys, cost of living was £55,000 a week!!

cheating spoils the game. :(
It can be an enchancement, once you've complete the game and want to experiment.. but locking this topic will only draw attention to it, so I'd recommend just ignoring it
The game gets boring if you buy stuff using money you didnt earn.
playing nss you don't need cheats for money. you always earn it a lot from sponsors

i only use cheats when i have completed the game as it can prolong the life of a game
not a fan of cheating before completion unless you are stuck with some thing

Cheatings great best way to learn is to cheat well done that fella for telling everyone of this
ohh... I'd so love to lock this thread so it becomes ancient history...
The best way to learn is to play, then cheat once you've cracked the game (no pun intended) :o
This cheat is lame. The save game editing one i used is a good 1 because you use your brain to think of it. If anyone opened their saved game now in notepad, they would just see a lot of stuff they dont know. To think of a way to find what needs to be changed is very smart. If you change the wrong thing your whole game could be ruined.
Agreed, that's how I learnt... the hard way. Of course, we bask in the satisfaction that if some uneducated muppet goes and corrupts their save game, there's no comeback on anyone here :o

You have to be smart when editing it. The safest thing to edit is your money...i have edited my fitness b4 an sometimes i have edited the rong thing but luckly it didnt get corupted.

I'll have to try it.
The safe thing is that you copy your saved game and if you ruin something always you can put in game your copied game.

Dont cheat for money because it makes the game boring. Cheating for fitness at the start of a new game is ok, untilll u get more stamina.

most admit would love for my player to have full stats
easily done, even with NSS3 beta, but do you really feel it's worth it until ya played 10 seasons in NSS2?

no need for 10 seasons.

Why not? You think playing for 2 seasons constitutes 'beating' the game? IMHO, you should play a full career before even thinking about cheating.

Totally agree with JJU. The game is much more than just 2 or 3 seasons. You have to play more. The spirit of the game is to play a full career.

i never agree with wednesdaylad either
lol
i have the last laugh though as my team Leicester City beat Sheffield Wednesday today 2-0
Mark de Vries got both of them
when i wrote about the not needing 10 seasons i was talking about getting full skills. I could get them in less...without cheating.

cheating in a game like this.... makes me wonder if someone has too much time on their hands and issues with self-esteem. :?
cheating in a game like this.... makes me wonder if someone has too much time on their hands and issues with self-esteem. :?Too an extent, but then if you've played the game to death, it's sometimes interesting to delve a little deeper to see how the game works, least that what's caused me to wander into the save game file.
Money really doesn't help that much, so takes little fun away from the game.

first cheating is funny but afterwards the game becomes boring. Only because u used a stupid cheat. Stay away from cheating ;)

the idea of a cheat is seen a okay if u have not struck it rich yet but removes da thrill of having to be independent.
gggrrrrrr.... you're bumping a thread with something that's not been posted in for 11 months and offered nothing new to what's already been said in it.
And quit the 'hot stepper' please.
