it's a bit (or a lot, I don't know...) difficult... no?

It might not be a good idea.
It 'll be difficult to organizing matches.
Most European leagues start in midnight of China.
And it's not a RTS game.
So I think that sending or receiving items on line will be enough.

not a good idea.. online play means monthly bills...

plus Si is a one man team... he goes through enough just making normal games.

and some factors like lagging, server hosts, and like mark said time differences will cause problems.

BUT, if Si can pull off something to make NSS an online game, i'd TOTALLY support it

I'm not sure how online matches would be played. I have considered doing an online high score table though, which lists the best players. However, that is a bit pointless at the moment because people can cheat by editing the save file.

Well,Doing cheat will do the harm to Simon's high score table plan. I often do the cheat while playing non-online games. Of course , just for fun.
By the way, when I started Nss2 as a new player, I found that the player was already 27 years old but not 17. and when a match started, it said that the game is not registered. What's the trouble?

yah..
its very dificult to put a online play on NSS becouse its interface and the way you play the game doesn't support it..... but i think the hi-scores would be fine..

Si, try checking the code to make sure the ten points are added to your skills and not your age. This I think happened with me in the beta version.
