here's what to do if your desperate to score but are to far out.
Choose simple pass and you've got a good chance of get it back closer to the goal. Most of the time it's a 1on1 with the keeper

or dribble around the defence

if u not very good and playing higher up the divisons short passes are better than longer passes.

Most times if your shooting ability is high, once you've dribbled your way to about 25 yards you can take your shot! :D

I once scored from 56 yards out!! N.B. As Dundalk aganst Bohemians. Score was 3:3.
