what you say if you do "Miss of the month" competition? We send you "this is the place where everyone should score, but..." replays??

I don't know if si like's it but if there was a competition about that, i would surely be he winner;) :(

PS- I don't know if anyone wants to be called "Miss of the Month" winner, it like being called the worst player in the world:p

I like that idea myself, the CPU has the knack of missing from positions you'd think it impossible not to score sometimes. I'm sure I've missed a sitter or two as well.

I had dozens of times that there isn't keeper and I made myself as a clown shooting the ball over the goal, or breakaways, never could score...:D:D

how do you get to the position where there isnt a keeper? have you rounded them already?

No, the worst was me, i driblled the goalie five yards away from the goal and dicided to shoot.... and (whit only 2 at shooting) made the miss of the MILLENIUM, the ball went to the right and left the field:o :o :o

PS- I don't believe we are comparing each other to see who is the worst:p

running around in the box works nice if you dont play in Premier League, then it is almost impossible. I only succeded to have an open goal by rebounds.

or when you manage to shoot at post, and keeper dives, then he is on the ground a moment and you have good time...well... shoot...over :D:D

It will stay in this thread...:D, well I have problems to curle the ball to right way, but somethimes it goes to goal with some curle

I dissagree this a bad idea, because if this would be accepted someone woulld enter a topic 'What about the Longest Throw In Competition'

I personaly think that there should be only competitions that are in the real life, like on Gooaaalll (Eurosport) we have the best goal, in Poland also have, best goal, best keeper save and best football trick!

And every spring when they play world tournament of icehockey, here is been showing in Finland "World Championship of icehockey" kinda tv-program, top 5 misses and top 5 goals, saves, tackles etc before the game starts. There was a Japanese once who did own goal and he was celebriting it, and few seconds after he realized that he made an own goal.

PS- I have one of these stories but it is about soccer, here it goes:
Mario Jardel has the ball, he shoots.... GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL... were is he going...... he is going to where the oponant team fans are, he's celebrating whit them and OH MY GOD.................. they started to hit him....etc

Was that in WC, wasn't it in the Olympics?
But that is the most beutiful owngoal I have ever seen.

With this Miss of the Month competition, does it really have to be a competition?
Couldn't it just to be about people showing how bad they missed some shots without geting a price?

It was in WC. I think it was in Finland few years ago. I think we are following JJU. We put the misses in this thread.

Oh man it is in the internet :D :D. Well he had an empty goal where he can score :D, propably the worst memory of every athletes I know. By the way those names on the link is Finnish.

Well I've got plenty of entries for "Taxi"! Running the entire length of the pitch, skinning about 5 defenders & the keeper, before slicing it out towards the corner flag probably tops the lot.
