I suugest that maybe the prizes where only for the game like. ... one time the first person get's 5.000.000$ in the game, or like a new ferrari, or Private Island, or a 'girlfriend' ;)!.

I was thinking about the same thing ... maybe before the compete start Si would announce what are the prizes:
'This month for the first place we have Ronaldinho signed Barcelona shirt, for the second place we have oryginal Champions League 2003 Final Ball, and the third gets a ammount of 1,000,000 $ (or something)

How about coding a new special item into the game with the name of the player who scored the goal of the month?

For example: "a ball signed by Nuno Alves - Goal of the Month award August 2005"

This would go into the database with all other special items that all users can receive.

could si not release a patch to add goal of the month awards into the game alongside the player of the season awards etc? this way it would be an actual achievement in the game rather than a purely role playing competition.

wow, it's wan't such a long time since I started all this, and now we've got lost of oferts.

I think the idea of 'game' cash, and special item's (nunoalves signed ball) are the best.
The idea of a free gift from the new star shop is preety good, I'm sure that more people will pley the game, and try to earn the prize. But then again, 12 free item's a year isn't so much, but it is. I like the NSS3 Mug, NSS3 Cap, NSS3 Trucker Hat.

,,, just interested ... how long the competition is gooing to go on ... untill World Cup Manager 06 (if it's going to be made) or nss4 ??
