Hello and welcome to our Goal of the Month forum. I know you've all got some beautiful goals to share with us all so here's the deal...
How To Submit Your Replay
If you think you have a candidate for Goal Of The Month, simply go to the replay folder (normally C:\Program Files\New Star Soccer 3\Game\Replays\) and locate the correct replay file, then email it to replays@newstarsoccer.com (replays@newstarsoccer.com) where we will assess it for entry into the competition. You must always zip replays before sending them to us. This will make sending the mail much quicker. On Windows XP you simply need to right-click the .rep file and select Send To then Compressed (Zipped) Folder.
How The Winner Is Chosen
All entries will be assessed by the forum administrators and moderators. We will select our favourite 10 goals and host them on www.newstarsoccer.com (http://www.newstarsoccer.com/) for everyone to watch in DivX format as well as letting people download the original .rep file. Voting will then take place for 1 week. Only forum members will be allowed to vote and you can only vote once. When the 7 days are up the winner will be announced.
The Prizes
The prize for the winning goal will be an item of the winner's choice from the New Star Shop (http://www.cafepress.com/newstarshop).
Competition Rules
1. You must be a registered player. Anyone who is using a license key that has been leaked on the internet will be banned from the competition and the forum. Remember, the replay shows your player name and the version of the game that you are using. This enables us to check the registration details of the entrant.
2. You must be a forum member. In the email please include your forum member name. If you don't include it we may not be able to identify you. If you are not a forum member you must join.
3. Replays must be zipped. If you do not know how to zip files you must find out before you submit a replay. Non-zipped replays will be ignored.
4. Do Not Send Avi Files. Even though NSS3 has the ability to convert replays to AVI files this function is not to be used for Goal Of The Month entries. Avi files are too big for us to receive by email and they will be immediately rejected from the competition. You must only send us zipped .rep files.
5. 5 Goal Limit. You can only enter 5 goals in one month. If you have 10 fantastic 30 yard shots then pick the best one or two. In addition to this, if your goal did not make the grade one month do not send it again the following month - it still won't win.
6. The judges decision is final. We will not be swayed by begging or bribes. If your replay isn't selected for the final 10 then tough luck but keep on trying!
