Motivational is handy in the early stage of your career, keeping your energy up. I just about prefer that sort to a tactical manager, and demanding is out of the question as I like being a wild lad at times :D

There should be an option for don't know / don't care

Actually I would prefer it to say what type of a manager the manager is before you do your trial. Becuase i like to start with motivational ones for the same reasons JJU said. NOw for most people starting out its not a huge problem becuase they pick their favourite team and play for them, but i wanted to start right at the bottom in the Conference and work my way up. I didn't mind which team i played for but i had to keep doing the trials over and over again before i found a motivational manager.

good point Falcon.. tis often annoying to get through a trial then have to do it again at another club because you don't want a demanding manager. Worth posting in the NSS3 Forum fella.

Demanding. Gives you lovely skill boosts and I enjoy annoying them and then building up the relationship just to annoy them again :)

Well I would prefer and love a motivational manager early in my career

i usually start with a demanding (at pro) because i like the difficult way and it gives that skill boost i rarely can train in the early stages due to the lack of stamina or pace etc etc which get top priority to keep up with the game.
but i have to admit that i restart a new career quite often and recently i got the habit to start in expert mode just to get the "random" offer from the lower clubs and then switch to pro level because i'm not yet that good

Well when I start, I pay particular attention to my shooting, pace and stamina, and thanks to my motivational manager, my energy level is most of the time high.
