I finally bought an FM because it was on Amazon in the USA. Haven't got it yet. Haven't seen FIFA Manager though.

FM2006 is essentially more of the same. Which is good if you like that sort of thing.

The Football Manager serial (and its predecessor, Championship Manager up to version 03/04) is the epitome of manager games, anywhere.

Football Manager 2006 is the best management game there is. I have clocked up so many hours on it since its release im too ashamed to tell anyone the actual number :D

I simply adore cm0102 and am absolutely happy with it after all the years :)
Never liked the newer versions, donno why, even though i realize that cm has been developed to a way more complex game now.

Fm 2006 is the only version i've liked since the 01/02 glory days.

Things were much more simple back then, more enjoyable, easier to be a great :D

If I add up the hours spent on 01/02 and FM 2006, it makes me wonder how I've had time to do anything else in my life at all!

I agree with Mravac kid. Anybody who loves manager games has to follow SI (not the creator of this great game btw) otherwise known as sports interactive. The Collyer Brothers started Champ Man until the evil suits fell out with them so EA got the name but SI kept the Engine. Football Manager all the way baby
