A new (old) national team bug!

I installed the new 3.03 patch, entered the game and just wanted to go and
play for Sweden to beat the **** out of France. But what happen, I dont
controll my own player! I never had this problem before I installed the
new patch, then the only problem was that the game crashed. What is this?
