monkey error: memory

i keep recieving a message that says "monkey runtime error: memory access violation" everytime i try to load my career, is there a fix for this or is there gonna be a bug fix for this? :)

actually in the update report it's said that if you got the monkey runtime error you had to restart your device. it works actually when you restarted it, but when i try to buy boots, it always screens the same error. i cannot buy boots by any chance. there should be a bug fix for this definitely.

Yes, looking into it. Are you able to get to the boots via the NRG button then switching to the boot section?

Hello ! I bought some boots for 0.79 euro, instead of receiving the best boot, I got the worst ones :/ and can't buy anymore boots, I receive the same memory segment error message every time I click on the Shoes icon :/

i have the same problem on the new ipad and you can't buy boots through the NRG button the same thing happens , it's frustrating are we any closer to a fix ?

Yeah, since last night I can't buy boots. At first the app would just crash when I hit the boots button, now I get 'Monkey: bus error' whether I use the Boots button or the NRG->Boots button. This is on iOS 4.2.1.

It's annoying the fact that I can't play for three months this game because of the monkey memory access error and what it's more frustrating it's the fact that administrator continues to do new versions Of this game, with stupid and not important things although, without fixing this error that it's driving me mad for three months! I can't load my career! Anytime I try it says monkey error memory acces violation! I was waiting for this new version to check if the game was working but now I'm really angry with you. Please do a new version in a week or I will ask for apple for my money back and for the remove of this game from the app store

Hi Si,

Thanks for the update. Same error for me. Game loads to main menu. Click on load career and monkey memory error.
Arcade mode works fine. Start a new career crashes when you click on green tick after you enter you name.

I've been locked out of my career save as well

Its been broken since May with no update from Si - i guess he doesnt know what is causing the error. Its a shame as it worked before the last 2 updates and we cant even restore back to them.

Still trying to fix it but things are a bit hectic at New Star Towers at the moment. For those that don't mind starting their career again, if you delete the app, restart device, re-install, click Options > Restore. Does it allow you to start a new career?
