err not quite sure what you mean, but there are hidden items in the game such as rare football shirts you can collect.

beware if you edit your dat file complain that your game does not work and send it to Si, don't think he will be too happy!

Start the game on easy, lower division you don't really need to cheat plus remember at the start of the game you can go into editor and mod your chosen team to be the best team in the league.

No it wouldn't.

Cheats are pointless and silly. Don't do it Si.

agreed if you start on Easy, why would you need to cheat :?

it would be a bit of fun when you complete the game and don't want to go through the whole process of building up your stats all over again

Cheats might be useful if you want to get past a part you can't win, and also if maybe you've done a whole game once and then want to restart without having to build up your stats again. You can already cheat for money in a way, by starting another game and sending expensive items to your real game, and then sell them.

I agree, they are only really necessary when you want to further explore a game after you've completeds it etc.
