Analog stick on gamepad

Does analogue stick on gamepad has advantage over keyboard in movement of the player? Or it will be after reaching some skill points?
Because I have NSS3 demo and I don't notice in my first steps in NSS3 the full-analog (360 degrees) player's movement by stick like in other games. So, it's difficult to me to move player in the specific degree. And I can't find right now the difference between movement by keyboard and analog stick on my Logitech Dual Action pad.
Or am I wrong?

The analogue sticks hold no advantage as they still act as digital controls. It is something i will look at in a future update.

To switch on the PS2 sticks, press the analogue button so that the red light comes on.

Off-topic: And can you separate redefining controls for "with ball" and "w/o ball"? And can you enable an option to change duration of pressing a button for max-power-shot/pass effect (in another word - ..."sensitivity of the buttons" may be)? And may be an option to change game speed smoothly, in more gradations?

Mine works. Just need to turn it on when you load up your first match.

I have a Logitech dual action gamepad and I´m trying to figure out how to change it so that the movement is controlled by the direction pad and not the analog stick since I would feel more comfortable playing that way. Anyone know how to do this?

By the way, this is really a great game. I´m having lots of fun playing in the Swedish league and trying to improve my skills high enough so that I can get my dream move to Arsenal!
