I searched in the forum but i havent found any topic or coment related to this so icreated this topic...
I always play at Fast speed in game, but suddenly, out of the blue, the same speed turned out to be slow as normal speed...but when i switch the camera to vertical the speed goes back to normal(but i dont like playing in vertical, prefer horizontal)
i already uninstalled, instaled again, patched another time but the same thing is happening...
can someone have a light on this?
thanks in advance...

Have you tried to change the speed during the game in horizontal camera?

already tried that NaNdO, but the supposed to be fastest speed is slow as "normal speed" i horizontal mode...only in vertical it goes back to normal...
ah, also closed all other aplications, ran just NSS3 in the computer but it's the same thing....

Firstly make sure you are playing on Normal speed (click F4 to cycle through).
Also, are you running in a Window? This can cause the game speed to vary and slow down, especially if it is raining.

In that case it's probably your pc spec. What's your processor and ram size? Have you tried updating the drivers for your graphics card?
It runs pretty well on most setups i've tried.

that's the problem, it used to run well on my computer but now it does not anymore...and i dont know why....
my pc is:
Celeron 2.2Ghz
256MB ram
32MB video
XP with SP2
i'm with 19, almost 20 years in my save game...all those first years of my career went normal, but now it is happening this slow-downs...

Very strange. As a test can you start a new career and see if that is fast? If it's still slow then it's nothing to do with the save game.

i uninstalled the game completely, only backing up my save game, everything else i deleted...
then, installed it again and til now is doing smoothly, so guess i can ease off now.... :o

For me, game speed varies a lot. I guess it has to do with the memory available in the computer before I start each game.
Sometimes matchplay is very fast, somethings it's slow. I'm just surprised that such changes occur quite frequently.

Have you tried closing all other applications before you play?
This would include all instant messengers as well like AIM or Yahoo. Also, have you checked your machine for viruses or spyware/adware. Even if you don't have pop-ups you could have some nasty malware eating your resources. Also how much memory do you have in your system? When was the last time you defragged your hard drive?
