View Full Version : Ive downloaded the 2 patches/updates new problem

since i d/l the updates ive been unable to score a volley from 18 yards (with a keper in) in training i did it with ease on many occasions b4 i d/l the patches now i cant score 1 for toffeee

anyone else found this??

Yeah the keeper AI has gotten better, and I'm stuck at 17 shooting points, too... :(

That's true, the keepers are a bit better now. I'll have a try and see if i can do it. :D

Si mate, it's alright to make the keepers better.... but there seems to be no improvement when shooting points increase. Surely when you're shooting is better, when you auto-shoot it should pretty much go in if you got an amazing shooting ability and you're in the conference #-o

I'm having trouble too... but i think it's better.. before the update i made goals from the center of the field (if you want i can post one goal of mine :D ) now i can score but not from a long distance... and i actualy like it... the game was a bit too easy for me.

I have made four goals in 2½ matches (the ½ one is when I got my first red card) with only 6-8 in scoring...

I'm good with the keepers being better, too, it makes it more fun, given that your shooting skill is already high. In the game I had started before the update, the better keepers are great, but I started a new one, and I just can't get good. I don't think the keepers should be made easier, really, but the volley-based training sessions are just too difficult now...

Yah i am doing the Penalty kicks 3 goals needed,. with 3 balls.

after the patch.. PACE, FLAIR, ETC all the way up..

but anyways, i tried running it a few times, and every single penalty kick now gets saved.

thats why i think it might be a prob.. cause if it was one out of 3 that gets saved, i would understand, but all 3 and twice..

i'll try again when i have more time.

penalties are do-able, but tougher than they were, you just have to find the right angle and the right power (2/3 or so) and you can nail them every time.

I can score.... it's just harder. i think their needs to be a proper tutorial then on all the aspects of shooting. if some people are findin it hard then the game isn't quite perfect. it shouldn't be easy, i'm not sayin that, im just saying it should be do-able

Ah, found the new spot for volleys, it's a bit smaller and harder to find, but it's there :)

I prefer a full pass with Penalties instead of shooting...

On the contrary i think a game is more perfect if some peopel find it hard. For example look at Pires he has difficulties emulating the great Cruyff :D :D

Some people are destined to never score in their lives and this game emulates that :D (like Rob Jones for LIverpool)

Which level is that?
I am now at level 27 or 28 in shooting. So i think I did that one.
Take position outside the peneltyareacorner and you'll find a spot where you can easily score.

I made that at the left corner of the peneltyarea. When the coach passes from the right...
