well done with the update simon ;)

but i don´t get it a thing... what is the advantage to have only 1 button to shoot, pass and lob the ball? isn´t better the tradicional 3 buttons like nss3 and 4?

Just a little problem/bug...

Only tested once but I was playing Italy v New Zealand. Made a substitution to see how its been implemented. Couldn't replace my striker with a goalie ... I like to get goalies ... goals :)

Besides that ... I replace my goalie with a new goalie. Great. A goalie runs off the pitch from my side of the pitch. BUT... when I next attack I see thaty the opposition .. HAVE NO GOALIE :D

ahem. Still didn't score but when my free kick went wide... the game had to end because they had no one to kick it out. So I had to just quit the game.

I'll test some more anyway but thats a doozy of a bug right there. NIce start to a Monday for you. Throw your plans for the week out the window :P

You can't actually do that, you see. FIFA have ruled that the three named keepers in the squad may only play as goalkeepers, and not outfield.

Seem to be having a goalie problem here too with this new version - also with New Zealand, (which, being a kiwi I obviously would like to play as!) - I can't even start a match with a goalie! That's right, he's just...not there? Now I know like many kiwis I'm very proud of how well our boys defended in their games, but removing our goalie is a bit much I think! ;)

Anyway, I even tried subbing a new goalie in, (especially when I also noticed one of the defenders, Tommy Smith was listed as GK and Mark Paston the goalie was listed as DL?)

Would be great to get this sorted if possible.

Since that your first question was posted at 06-27-2010 and you get no reply from the game's responsible (but at the same time he persists to promote this game in his tweeter!), my conscience demands me that I have to say some words here.

Even after this, you say "sorry"?
As you can see, he is only interested to cheating people by making some money selling incomplete games, so he suddenly stops to working on the games and he never fix the majority of the bugs, some of them very important... As you can see, he totally ignores you! I’m not sure why this happens, but I suppose that’s because he simply doesn't want to work in order to get his costumers satisfied. He just wants to make money, no matter how.
This is totally unacceptable especially for those who BOUGHT the game (if you are one of these unfortunate people, this means that you and NSG have an agreement, actually a contract because you paid for it. Unfortunately, only one of the parts fulfils integrally the agreement – those who make the payment, but they never gets the full product).

It’s really sad realizing that most of the people who were cheated are so innocent (I suppose most of them are a just a child yet). So, they even don’t know how to react to this kind of attitude.

Anyway, I’m glad to “see” you again! Good times passed when we were making mods for Sensible soccer!

You can fix the New Zealand goalie problem by opening C:/Program Files/Sensational World Soccer/Data/Squads.csv in Excel (Tab delimited) and scrolling down to New Zealand/Mark Paston and changing the SelectionNo from 2 to 1.

Alternatively overwrite the existing Squad.csv with this one.
