what i'd like to see is more than the "Winner" screen if you manage to win the cup.

there should be some kind of "path to victory" where you see screenshots of every game + results.

edit:
after playing my second world cup i think the goalkeepers' positioning should be changed. they are too far away from the goalline and too far away from the side which is attacked.

i also had the halftime bug, i think it occurs when there is a foul or something similar just after the ref whistles for halftime (player slides - halftime whistle - player fouls opponent)

another strange thing: the opponent seems to copy my tactics very often

i think the kickheight should increase with the power you put in the shot (only shooting not lob). right now i never shoot over the goal, regardless of how hard i shoot and how high kickpow_shoot is set.

another bug:
the players don't stay in the wall after you hit the freekick. they should stay in the wall formation until the ball has hit or passed them

but i have to say that this engine is really great! i didn't have that feeling in any new star game before. there are at least 2 situations in every match where i think to myself, "wow. that was well played" (not only my own moves, also the CPU's moves)

Finally read the help file, and discovered how you cross the ball. Doesn't always seem to cross though, sometimes just boots it straight forward, not quite sure why, but think it may be to do with how soon you press the button after letting go of the direction?? Also found out how to action the different celebrations!

Just got beat 4-2 by Brazil as France in the final, following a superb 4-3 win against Holland, three times coming from behind, and then getting the winner in injury time, and winning on penalties in the previous round. Gutted at losing the final. (Have won as England though). I love this game.

Went back and played a bit of NSS2010 and realised how much better this match engine is. :D
