Hey guys,
Yep, I'm back, and I'm finally playing with the editor....
I've never been convicned the difficulty level on NSGP has been tough enough - one of the things about the AI I've noticed is that the "racing lines" the AI takes are not optimal, thus allowing a skilled driver to not only take advantage of the AI's slightly flawed pit strategy (sadly, this cant' be fixed) but also to have easy overtake points and better lap times generally because the AI's race line is too conservative.
Well, the race line can be fixed....
Please find attached below altered race lines for the NSGP tracks, with an attempt at more optimal race lines. These are as close as I can get to the race lines I use, and in general gain about 1-1.5 seconds a lap on the standard AI. My plan is to release these on the same schedule as the NSGP Online Championship for each track as it comes up (yes, I'm using this for practice....).
Don't care if anyone wants to use these in a track pack/mod/whatever. Don't want credit, although feedback would be nice.
Enjoy!
