NSS 2010 Game Editor - BETA

Hey guys, ive finished a program where you simply designate your save file and then their is a simple to use interface where you can edit the following


Cash Total
Relationships
Contract Wages
Contract Expiry Date
Contract Bonuses (Goal, Assist, Clean Sheet)
Gym Equipment
All Available Player Abilities


I am currently left with the following to implement.


Player Value
Instant Transfer
Instant Loan
All Shop Items
Changing Name, Squad No. & Nationality
Changing Like/Dislike Club
Instant Sponsors
Horse Racing Stable & Horses
All Awards
World Status
Age (D.O.B)
Ego, Flamboyance, Intelligence


As soon as I have these implemented, the final public version will be released. If you want to take a quick look at the current version (need some testing done to make sure no errors occur) then PM me. First 4 people will get it sent.

Yes, you can change all your player's skills.
I plan on releasing an early version which I will constantly be updating later today.
Finally, im not sure about the NSS3 version, but I will definately have a look at the possibility!

OK, NSS3 uses a really awkward looking save method and im not sure if I will be able to do a GE for NSS3.

Im pretty sure you might be able to change your skills maybe using Cheat Engine or something similar, although ive not tried.

OK, the current version (0.9.8) wont work at the moment unless you have one of the .dll files, ill attach it to the latest version.

anyone know if this 2 programs called GAME EDITOR and GAME MAKER 8 are good to create football games??? i want to create one :P

If by Game Maker 8, you mean Yoyo Game Maker 8, then it really depends on how complex you want the game to be. I've made a couple of games using GM8, and it's best to just do basic games, eg. nothing more complex than pacman if you don't know any programming languages...

on the flip side, it is really easy to use and get used to. After about an hour of mucking around and doing a tutorial, I knew what was what.

So if you want to make a basic game, then you should definately use GM8.

If you want to make something a bit more complex, then i wouldn't recommend it.

Btw, i haven't used the other one ;)

It would be great to be able to make X team bid for Y player during Transfers. I know I can do it by editing the savegames, but it would be much easier and much faster with a simpler interface.

Otherwise you have to find the ID of the player you want, the ID of the team he's playing in, etc.

I was working on this actually, im about to post a new thread in a little while, but I havent been able to get this in yet, but its on my to-do list!

Sorry that I ask you again but your idea with the Game Editor for NSS 4 is so great that it would be very nice to have it in NSS 3!

@Volker: I am still working on it. The variables are so hard to extract from the .nss file and its taking for ever to find them all. I did include what I had got so far in the download in the new thread, however ive removed it as after a bit of testing it was corrupting every save file I tested it on.

Im still working on it though, just taking much longer than I expected as its saved in an awkward format compared to NSS2010.
