New Star Tennis - A Topspin Clone

i bought new star tennis but when i played it for 20 minutes is saw that everything was copied of topspin:(
I Always enjoyed the new star games execpt fot this one:(

That's odd. I'm a big fan of Top Spin, and the only similarities I can genuinely see are that the game is tennis and has a calendar, both of which feature in the real sport the two games took their inspiration from.

The play is completely different, Top Spin opting for a shot timing mechanism and optional power/risk shots, where positioning your player means absolutely everything when it comes to getting a good shot in, whilst New Star Tennis goes for giving you full control over the aiming of the shot and with less focus on your player's balance.

Being tennis games, there'll be inevitable similarities, but suggesting everything's been copied would be simply wrong.

Being tennis games, there'll be inevitable similarities, but suggesting everything's been copied would be simply wrong.

And even if it did copy some of the features it wouldn't be a bad thing at all. Top Spin 1 was a pretty good game for its time. But I do agree, NST is far from being a simple clone. It's actually rather unique in several ways.
