He means Future- and Challengertournaments.
Futuretournaments are like (i think) juniortournaments. Challengers are something like amateurtournaments before heading to the pros. Thatīs how i would describe it.
How do you know what he means? Nobody who reads his posts will be able to find it out or get into his brain and take out his ideas... If you've got your own, share them with us in appropriate topics (otherwise some people'd think you're his alter ego :P or a... lawyer :P).
Cheers!

Challenger tournaments do exist - they are the tournaments for the rookies. I hadn't heard about Future tournaments though.

There are future tournaments too, for the future's pro...I mean for the youth, age under 18. I think the rule is, when the player became 18 years old, he/she can finish his/her last Future Season. When the player is 18 or older, he/she can participate in Challenge Tournaments, and the biggest tournaments too. The difference is your skill, or your opponents skill. (Of course Roger Federer not quite possible to take place in a Challenge Tournament, because he is one of the bests, and of course the points and the cash is more smaller what he could earn, than in Wimbledon, for example.)
