Go to the "Start" button, type in "Run" in the search field and click the result. Type in "sysdm.cpl" and then go to "Advanced", then click the first "Settings" button, then go to the last tab "DEP" or "Data Execution Prevention", then click "Add", and browse to your Program Files, then New Star Tennis folder and click the New Star Tennis application.

click apply and try again.

Nope, same thing.
It almost seems like a graphics thing. When I click the icon the screen seems to change to a lower resolution and the the error box pops up. When I close the error box the resolution changes back. Graphics card is a GeForce 9800 GTX+ if that helps.

Is NST FULLY vista or 7 compatible?

I'm running it on Vista x86 and I'm not having any problems, though I am yet to get my copy of Win7 to try it.

I'm using W7 and it's working fine.

I've updated my drivers, reinstalled the game multiple times, ran as administrator, ran in xp service pack 2 mode and still get the same message. This is the only program I have had trouble with so i'm not sure where to go from here.

Open the file c:\Program Files\New Star Tennis\Settings.ini

Change saveloc=0 to saveloc=c:\New Star Tennis

See if that helps. If it does, it means your save files will now be directly in the c: drive as opposed to your Documents folder.

I assume that no one has any solutions. Its funny because NSS 2010 runs fine. Oh well, guess i will save my $14.99.

It's strange because it works fine with Vista 32-bit for me. Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers?

What is your graphics card? I can't believe I missed this one...

My graphics card is a GeForce 9800 GTX+, I updated the drivers when I had trouble with the game thinking maybe that was the problem. I have disabled my anti-virus and firewall but no change.

Just tried 1.04, same thing.
