World Cup Freeze [Archive]

Hey,

Just bought the game yesterday.. already at the world cup and whenever I hit the "World Cup" button to check out the standings or fixtures list, the game stops responding and must be CTRL-ALT-DEL'd. I can keep playing if I don't hit the button tho, just means I can't check the standings or fixtures

I was on the World Cup two but when i pressed "World Cup" nothing hapend.

I wish i can give you advice byut i'm not going to say anything if i am not 110% sure it is correct.

Now that I've played my first game in the world cup, I can access the screen...

Before I played my first world cup game, the game would crash... Weird

Kitridge, do you have a save game from just before the world cup? I would like to test and find that bug. If so, please email it to me.

I was thinking I should prolly have saved it, but I kept going.. if it's any consolation, the fixture and standings screen worked fine after I played my first World Cup game and I'm now a completely satisfied customer =D>

I guess if I notice it again I'll be more vigilant and make sure I save it and send it.

I have just sent a saved game from during the World Cup where it freezes immediately when the "world cup" button is hit.

Everytime I load the game and hit the button, it freezes. (I've tried 5 times in a row)
