What you should do is...
SEARCH FIRST!

How do I get my confidence when i reach 0%? I mean, I dont get to play because of my confidence and my confidence lacks because I dont get to play...

As much as this is going to sound weird, but i had this trouble.....UNTIL.....some bloke offered me some "exotic vitamins" for £100 or something similar, and it upped my confidence slightly, he offered again and it max'd my confidence. Not seen / heard from the bloke since.
Very strange, but helped lots.

You can do that but it's easier if you drink, but dont drink to much or you willbe falling around the field;)

You should be able to increase your confidence in another way, i dont think every footballer solves his confidence problems just drinking. You could make simple thinks, like passing the trainings at the first try or winning at the horse races, to increase your confidence a bit.

if your confidence is really low for a while you normally have your friends approach you and you can attend a class to get your confidence back up or get offered confidence pills

Having a girlfriend should boost your confidence.
Hello,
I'm now in my 3rd season, I got the skills like positioning, vision etc maxed, now training shooting .. (the red bars), one problem I never get selected due to not enough confidence.
I've tried to improve my reputation with girlfriend, family, friends but nothing seems to help, in 3 seasons I think I played at max 10 matches..
Anything I could try?
Thanks
Steven
PS: I'm using the lastest version from last week (24/11)

I'm going to had something to si's answer:
Try a search on the forum for more info, but the short answer is: Drink Alcohol.
Here goes a long answer:
You can increase your confidence by drinking alcohol, but don't drink to much or it may happen one of these two things:
1. You may miss a match because of being drunk
2. You may find your self in te game tripping
Hope this solves your question and next time, don't forget to use the search button next time (like si sayd;))

Having a girlfriend should boost your confidence.
Do you mean a 1 time boost when you first get the girl or an ongoing confidence boost?
I guess if the girl relationship is high it can boost your condifence, but then drain it when it is low. Maybe throw Family and Friends into the mix as well?
What do you think?
Nando

Having a girlfriend should make the confidence a little bit more volatile, as everyone who has been in the situation knows that there are good times and bad no matter how in love you are with each other. So I wouldn't make it the better the relationship, the better the confidence necessarily, like if your girlfriend is in a bad mood (wink wink). Maybe a biweekly non-popup event with the girlfriend, friends and family, with the higher the relationship percentage the less likely something bad happens? Such as 'you got in a fight with your mother', or 'your family are coming to watch your next game' (that one would be interesting, if you've got a bad relationship with them you wouldn't care? but if you had a good relationship there might be more pressure to perform?). Or if you have just lost a big match and your form isn't high, your girlfriend might do something nice for you if the percentage is high enough. Sponsorships could also slightly boost confidence. You could have a field day here Si

i was go to the casino and play then my confident change from 100% to 0% and the manager have 0% hate me and he never let me play the maches
plz help me and sorry for my bad language
That will happen if you go to the casino and lose lots. Your manager may also disapprove of your gambling if he is the demanding type.
I'm afraid all you can do is try and build yourself back up again. Try playing roulette and betting on black and red at the same time.

The most direct way is to play well in games, and also if you train (and pass, of course) that inproves your confidence too.
Failing that getting drunk will geve you confidence, but I advise that you rest for a match afterwards!!!!!

Oh but it is difficult to improve confidence in matches when I dont play them due to the manager not picking me because of lack of confidence ;)

What match rating are you getting? What I did was I had lots of alchohol and eventually the gaffer will pick you when your confidence goes up. Ok so you trip up now and again but make sure you complete lots of passes and get shots on target and you will stay in the team and your drunkeness will pass.
Positioning and vision have nothing to do about it, my advice is to read the help file...
One tip: Gamble a bit with small amounts, if you win, your confidence goes up! :)

Drink alcohol, that increases your confidence - but you do get drunk so don't go overboard with it.
Winning at the casino helps too I believe.

I think this game is great, but I am starting to get very angry with it
:wall:
I started off at Tottenham Hotspur and played two games. I didn't play well in the second game and was dropped from the squad because I apparently lacked confidence.
After playing for nearly 2 hours without playing a match, I asked for a transfer to a lower division side, thinking that I would get a game.
That proved to be a waste of time too.
How on earth do you improve your confidence?
Can anyone help me?
Bubka

I had that problem aswell in a game. I went for 20 or more league matches before I figured it out. Unfortunately I cant remember what I did to fix it. I think it was something with consuming a beer or two (or perhaps 3) untill my confidence went high enough to be picked to a match.

or pass a training challenge :) Alcohol seems easier but you'll be drunk and might not be chosen for 1 or 2 matchs and when u do get chosen you'll be falling down all over the place during the game (seriously).
I actually contracted a knee injury when I repeatedly fell down during a game, lol

Which position do you play?
Remember that the different positions require different form for play. As an attacker or defender you cannot charge the ball constantly across the pitch. Stay open for passes, make ALOT of passes to teammates (even short ones) and be sure to make finishes.
As a midfielder it is more acceptable to go charging across the pitch. Make passes and intercept/tackle alot.
As a defender you have to be more aware of your position. Make tackles and passes without leaving the defensive line too much.
