NSS 3 Access violation

Hey guys,

Great work as usual, another magnificent game. I'm playing with the second division Englisg side Wrexham and after my match it gives me an error that says the following:

Error: Access violation at 0x00494474 (tried to read from 0x0337F05C) program terminated.

I read some threads about it in NSS2, but none so far from NSS3. I'd like to continue playing but everytime I play my game it happens.

I got an Access Violation as well.... twice on the same game.

It was English Cup first round.

And I was Accrinton Stanley playing Stoke.

We lost first time and won the second time.......

Oh my gosh... I can't believe it either... it was a 1-0 of Conference Accrington too.....and I scored for Accrington from 40+ yards... wonderful replay....

Where is goal of the month LOL! Just the fact it was Accrington gets me.....

Thanks but I don't need it anymore. while waiting for a reply I started a new game with the same club (you can see where this is going). So when i saved it I forgot to click "save as" and forgot that it automatically saves with the game under your club and your name :x . I even disabled autosave to avoid this problem :x . There's just days when you realize that you should've stayed in bed.

If you haven't saved again then you might have the backup from the old save left.

Well first of all you need to get a transfer from that Welsh riff-raff Wr*xh*m and move over the border to a decent English team like Chester as soon as possible :wink:

Can you please please fix the schedules while you're at it. Like it used to be in the earlier versions, not like a national game and a champions league on the same day, or national game on saturday and league game on sunday. Also the correct energy deduction in training in expert mode. thanks.

edit: hehe nevermind, i just saw that sir's post was from a long time ago. i got excited we were getting a new update. didn't realize this was an old topic.

I can't play NSS 3 anymore.The game crashes everytime i try to load sensational 3.16 and there is an error message that says "access violation at 0x1000640e (tried to read from 0x1000640e, programm terminated".I really need help please:(

Hi,

I am getting a similiar problem with version 3.16. I just finished my second season with Melbourne Victory and while trying create the fixtures it comes up with this message.

0x004102F7 (Tried to read from 0x00001CBC)

I forgot to save before starting a new season so I went back and picked off from my last save and at the end of the season saved and tried and again and got the same message.

When does your problem occur ekxl? I played a few games on your save without an issue.

At the end of the season, after fixtures created. I couldn't played the first match of the new season as far as i remember..

i get accesss violation everytime ...

when i open the game options
when i am gonna take the trial, i don't even have the option to save it, because it happens before i have the chance to save it

i'm starting to think that the problem is with my AMD, because i'm looking for this problem for a while and a great bunch of people who have AMD are having this problem with NSS3, are having problems with the NSS4 beta, and etc ...

i need an answer because i really like this game, but if i play i can't save because the error ocurred and closed the game.

Yeah, I think Si would need a save game to have any chance of fixing it. Out of curiousity, is this using an unregistered player name with the latest version?

I was just making sure this was the case and that you were using 3.16, not suggesting you purchase it as a fix.

the strange thing about this is that yesterday it wasn't working, n I was just trying, and at certain point, it worked n I continued playing, but i didn't send si the file because i updated the driver, but didn't restart, so, i thought the update fixed the problem. And I restarted, 2day, i tried to paly again and .... access violation, and worse, it deleted the save game, so I can't send si the file, but i really think that the problem is with the AMD ...

Dare I suggest that if your save game is disappearing, the most likely cause if that you have previously, or are still, using a leaked name? This is also known to cause the game to 'crash' before trial. I would suggest you be totally honest with us, as we can't provide support for such a problem unless you actually have a purchased code.

If you're unable to pay for the game, then play your 10 games again and again. If you choose to use a leaked code, don't come on the forum asking for support.

Come back when you've purchased the game basically.

Tough, you shouldn't have used a leaked code in the first place. Not even sure why I'm discussing with you. Go figure it out for yourself.
