the game seems not to be very compatible with a 1152x864 resolution. I cannot even get to the trial part because it won't load, it says the resolution is too big. Can this be changed? I'd really like to play the game...

what is your grahpics card?
If you don't know how to check go to..... start, run and type in dxdiag then click on the 'display tab' and in the top left corner will be a device section. All info is there.

Try changing your resolution then start the game. Set the option (in the action screen) to Windowed. This will be saved from then on.
Then you should be able to change your resolution back.
Alternatively, pm me your email address and i'll send you an option file which starts the game windowed.

In fact. You can download the option file here:
http://download.newstargames.com/ops.dat
Copy that over your old ops.dat in C:\Program Files\New Star Soccer 3\Game\Data\
That should make sure that matches start in windowed mode. Let me know how you get on. :D

when picking kit selection at the bottom is 'options' you'll find you can change screen there. :D

Well it switches between Full Screen and Window depending on what you are currently using. Click Windowed if you want to switch.

:? :? :?
Ok, now I have no idea what the system specs are for this game, but surely they require more than a 1MB Gfx Card.
Sensi Soccer needed 4MB almost ten years ago I believe :D
Correct me if i'm wrong but i'm just used to seeing 64MB minimum for the past year or so.
:? :? :?
Are you still not able to play the game? I thought maybe some remote A*S*S*istance might be in order.
Admins, can we get rid of the *A*S*S* filter please? too many words use it...

Yes,but I don't stick to that because I'v played a lot of games which sistem requirements are,how to say, biger or higher than my computer sistem.:)

I would tend to doubt it man.
I ran probably every version of Sensi Soccer on an upgraded Amiga 500+ with 2MB total RAM. The video to my knowledge, shared from your physical ram. Also prior to the upgrade was using Sensi Soccer or SWOS on a 1MB Amiga.
I would imagine for NSS3, as long as you have anything over an 8MB shared video card you would be more than fine.

Now I can play the game, but my computer is little slow for that game.
It's little odd,because I'v played more bigger games.
I find it runs quicker in full screen mode Dimitrije? You could also try running some anti-spyware software and using defrag / scandisk to help your PC run a little smoother, if you haven't already of course.
Glad it's working for you now :)
