In the end of the second season when the None was the winner of the World Player of the Year award. I never heard of a football player called None :?

What JJU means is that when everybody that made the leagues got the editor, all of the players were named "Player Name" and the Nickname was "None" that's why it apeard "None has won the World Player of the Year". That might be a little mistake that somebody (maybe me) made. But i am not sure.

Cheers for explaining Nando, that's pretty much it. I think all it should need is a fix from Si to say that if the player nickname is 'None' then the usual name (ie, First + Last) is used.

I'm sure this worked on the later betas, unless of course some random worldclass player has a space after None?? This might confuse it.

We can use the editor and sherch player that their nickname is "(SPACE) None" and we got our suspects... then we see who is the best of them all and (maybe) there is our guilty boy.

Good plan, isn't?

doing a search of each league .dat file using metapad to search for 'none '. Didn't get any results so I'm pretty sure it's the originally suggested problem.

It must have been a random player as i found and fixed a bug. Random players were getting the nick name "None" when they should have been blank.
