What i want to know is what is your favorite position on NSS3????

Mine is Attacker and yours?Once I get a game started, I'm going to see how playing as a defender feels, but I think striker has to be the best.

I actually really enjoyed playing as a midfielder bombing up and down between boxes. Trouble is i spend more time making the game than playing it!

I'm playing as an attacker but I have started to run around the whole field and sometimes the manager place me as a defender. But that is only when we are leading with 5 goals...

attacker or midfielder. scoring is beatiful but play as playmaker or sided midfielder is really good too

I am an Attacker (like I said) and i look like a and AMD (Attacker, Medfielder, Defender) because I am in the back in the middle and in the front.

Always moving around like a ninja :P :P

if just train on your pace then the game becomes alot easier

Thanks for the tip and here is one for you: train Stamina that makes you lose energy slower and makes you win energy faster.

for me attacking midfeilder is the best place cause you can have so much options of what to do and so on

I've only ever played as a centre midfielder so far, like to be involved in defence and attack, linking up the play. Can be very frustrating if your strikers are rubbish though. Managers keep trying to convert me to a striker, might give in to them soon.

I started in defence. Played rubbish cos I was new to the game. Got better and went into left wing by managers request. Eventually asked to play upfront by the gaffer and not looked back since. I had a heck of a time scoring my first goal but when it came it was a stunner. I am going to submit it to goal of the month. By the way nando me and my missus love your chicken and the sauces :)

I have decided to start again now in midfield as a winger. And I managed to score an awsome goal with my first touch of the ball!!!

It is so different playing as a midfielder, I couldn't believe the change!

Personally I usually start careers in NSS3 as a midfielder center since my teammates always seem to have issues passing the ball forward if I start as an attacker and thanks to the steadily decreasing match rating it can't be afforded. I've never started as a defender in NSS3 even though I always did in NSS1 and in real life back in high school.

PS: I wish y'all hadn't missed one particular joke back when this thread was named its original way... You ever see those bumper stickers and t-shirts that say things like "Construction workers really like to give it a hammering." or "Dentists like their women to say 'ah'." Well back when this topic was its startup version I think "Soccer stars do it with their feet..." would've fit in well into the ribbing Nando received over it. ;)

i score 2 or 3, team is leading then i get put into midfield, and its kinda boring, i like running forward and scoring goals, so attacker for me :)

attacker is the easiest one
midfielder is the one i vote due to the good ratio of involvment of the game
defender is difficult because especially at early stages You run slower than anybody else Your strengh is so low that You can even hardly make fouls and to gain a good rating You have to run the pitch quite unrealistically for a defender.
but i 'm trying more and more to master it
