The NSGP F1 Mod community must be getting jolly inpatient with me, and believe me I sympathise. The follow up to the first issue has been a long time coming, and although i'd like to say the ammount of new content invested into "NSGP F1 II" is representative of the ammount of time it has taken to come about, I can't and instead have to hope that the new release won't be too much of a disapointment.

That said I do have some excuses at the ready, and though work commitments and university engagements don't exactly bring smiles to the faces of the forum collective, I have been stashing an ace up my sleeve for some time!

If my NSGP time were a shelf, then the NSGP F1 mod would be gathering dust at the back, occasionally looked at in disgust at the ammount of hassle it creates, but my pet project sits in a gleaming glass cabinet, at the very front.

So here is the official announcement of "Project X". Why project X you ask? Well, I havn't really come up with a title that i'm happy with, and to give it a name as naff as "F1 1967" would I feel do it a disservice to the ammount of effort i've put in.

I won't lie to you and say I did this for the forum, if anything it is a rather selfish endevour, and a bit of self-indulgence hastily disguised as a generous contribution, probably explaining why I find working on it so much more enjoyable than NSGP F1.

So enough babbling, here's my baby in it's infancy. As of yet I have the cars completed, the database finished and 2 of 6 tracks ready. I still have plenty to do, so this is by no means something you can expect to see in the next few weeks, at best in a months time, but such is the labour of love.

I hope you like it!
