Calling for the ball....

First things first.... i came about this series just yesterday, and oh my god, what a game NNS 3 is.... top job Si.

Ive looked about but i cant see an answer anywhere. What affect does calling for the ball have on your performance? Does it lower it? I started calling for the ball more and my performance rating went down form 6 to 2.

Just curious if it is related....

if you call for the ball miss it, hog it and in general fluff it up then yep your rating will lower. Also your team mates confidence in you will lower.

I try to stay in a position where i can get some space. Do up your Vision stat + passing stat then call for the ball and just tap the pass button (don't worry about power). your passes will be alot better and it helps when putting through balls to your striker partner (strikers, if your a midfield player)

So you wanna play those passes that can catch a team off guard at the back? You'll need vision. The distance which you are able to play quick passes (these go to your team mate automatically by tapping the pass button) is determined by vision. Combine this with a good passing ability and you’ll unlock any defense.

this is just a small tip to help with your match rating, getting the ball then quickly tapping pass will see alot more completed passes and a rise in your rating.

Passing is actually very important in getting your ratings up - initially i charged around like a demented bull, shooting every chance i had. That got my confidence really low and i had to take up dinking :D

Then i started passing some more and low and behold my teamates also started to pass back. They're now going from seeling 12 of my shirts at a go to selling thousands :D

I have had one kitten induced error, and unbelievable as it seems this is a true story lol. I was in the health screen, when my kitten jumped on my keyboard and mouse. Lo and behold alkie here also turned into a junkie. Now i'm just hoping they dont catch me. Maybe i can meet up with Rio on the day of the drugs test....

I can't. I may be a team superstar, but the team in question is Canvey. They dont pay me enough to go to a rehab. Infact the 10,000 cost of the drug also wiped out my bank balance leaving me with 1,103 :( My only hope is to keep scoring goals so i can afford rehab off my goal scoring bonus..... I only need another 2000 odd goals :D
